72.) happiness: (a sonnet)

A part of me.
A golden artery.

A blooming tree
like budding citrine.

Glowing in a river of honey.
Beaming under the sun, so sunny.

Yellow and round like an orb.
A marble of gold I absorb.

Shining like the moonlight on a crystal.
Thriving like a gold bullet from a pistol.

Fleeting like a lily in the wind,
a winged wisp from a dandelion, unhinged.

Lingering like a lonesome star.
Happiness, oh happiness,
how I wonder where you are.
