Do today
what was meant to be done yesterday
then happily walk away

doing things before it's too late
yelling yippee,
hooray, yay-me!

Now I can see my to-do list free
of ink
now my mind is free
to think.
Is this really real?
-Then I blink.
All this time for me to steal?
I'm pink.

Boom goes my time - always
It'll come again someday.
Tomorrow but not yesterday,
life is now mine to play,
go, do, enjoy not say.
Live until the sky turns grey.

We're mere mortals dreaming of something creamy
to cast us away.
We seem to daydream
our ways up to the clouds above.

Do you see the sunset fleeing away from us?
The sun seems shy,
I'd wonder why,
maybe it's the day sky,
now I have to wave it goodbye,
then I'd greet it at sunrise saying "hi!",
as I'd watch the birds fly,
ever so high.

Then before you can say
"smooth, flattened clay",
the day's gone away,
"oh, what a waste",
but do not haste,
it is only May
we still have seven months,
several more days,
hey, hey, hey,
there goes May,
June, July and the day,
none of which could stay,
galloping away,
like a horse that yells "neigh",
well at least we dreamed all that we could dream
drowning in honey and cream
in unity,
holding hands like we're a team,
grinning, smiling pearly teeth beam,
mist and steam leaving.

Wonder what they'd deem
this kind of life
wonder if they'd dream
of this kind of life
wonder if they'd need
this kind of life
wonder if they'd breed
this kind of life
wonder if they'd plant a seed
of this kind of life
or plead for this kind of life
wonder if their greed'll
give them this kind of life.
Or if they'd bleed
this kind of life
to extinction
to non-existence.
To oblivion.
