I've abandoned this since it's probably one of the cringiest stories to ever see the light of day, knowing that I wrote this will haunt me forever.

Trolls surfacing. Wizards hiding in plain sight. And...
I usually add introductions to each of my stories and they just clear things up so I don't have to later.
Demons are not canon in the Tales of Arcadia universe in case you haven't watched them, because of this I've created a brief lore for them for the fanfiction.

Demons were almost hunted to extinction in the medieval times of Camelot due to religious reasons or something. When the battle of Killahead rolled around the sides were split up. Half of the remaining demons fought with Gunmar so they wouldn't have to live in fear of being killed, while the rest watched from the sidelines.
After the battle was over the demons were dragged into the dark lands with Gunmar and his forces due to their naturally dark energy.
From there the trolls hunted them as well due to the trouble they caused, and their numbers dwindled even further.
Demons are more athletic than people by nature, and are capable of small magical feats such as pyro-kinesis and levitation but they themselves can't fly. A more common ability is for them to be able to control salt. Whereas ghosts are effected negatively by salt demons find it easy to manipulate and control. They can create large portions of it fairly quickly that can join it together to act as large stones.
Being demonic means they get burnt by religious things eg. Churches, bibles, holy water etc. it's confirmed that the toa world was created by the three Demi-gods; Skrael, Bellroc and Nari, but they're still effected by religious items due to the enchantments on them.
They're able to shapeshift to hide their true form. They can create their own human form to disguise themselves, and can make themselves look like another person if they have some of their DNA but only for a certain amount of time. The more DNA they have the longer they'll be able to hide as them.
When it comes to their nature they're pretty slick and prefer to avoid direct confrontation, instead they play irritating jokes on people, steal and only pick fights with things/people they know they can beat. When it comes to facing consensus for things they often try to escape but they're noticeable demeanour gives them away if someone's looking for them.
Another thing to take note of are their incredible senses such as hearing and smell. However, their enhanced hearing can often backfire resulting in them being sensitive to loud noises.
Demons are fine if using contracts. They find loop-holes in the agreements and use them against the person on the other end of the contract to get something out of them unfairly.
Appearance wise, they come in a multitude of colours, and are distinguishable by their twirly horns and pointed tails, unlike trolls they lack stone skin and have hair like humans do.
