" Thank you so much" I said to kentrell driver as I got out the car

I closed the car door and ran towards my mom's house

"Mels wait up!" I heard kentrell's voice. "What kentrell, I can't talk right now" I sighed knocking on my moms door

He was about to say something when my mom opened the door

" Mels where have you been" She asked. "I'll tell you later I gotta go" I frantically said as I walked past her and ran upstairs

I grabbed me and major's stuff and started packing them back inside the suitcases

"Mels what happened....why are you leaving" My mom asked coming into my room as kentrell was right behind her

"Mom I can't stay here, I gotta go" I said. "What happened?" She asked

"Tell me.....what's going on" She asked. "Remember bravo" I said and she nodded her head

"He just kidnapped me damn near three hours ago while I was at the mall with Naomi" I said and she gasped

"Who!" Kentrell asked

" Bravo....It's a long story" I sighed. "But mom we gotta get outta here" I said

" what do you mean we?" She asked. "Mom bravo is literally about to come after me and if he can't get to me he's gonna get you.....instead" I said

" What are you talking about mels" She huffed folding her arms. "Bravo was the one that killed dad and he's coming after all of us" I said

" Kentrell you gotta go" I said to him. "Mom go and start packing so we can leave" I said

She left out the room and kentrell spoke up and said something

"Where do you guys plan on going now" He asked. "I don't know yet" I said

" I can't go to Houston or back to Chicago...." I said

"Why not Houston" He asked. "Because I got people watching me and reporting my every move to my abusive ex husband" I said

"Mommy" I heard majors voice

We both turned our heads and seen major standing at the doorway

"Cmon baby we gotta go" I sighed grabbing her placing her on the bed as I began putting on her shoes

" This yo daughter" He asked. "Yea....her name is major" I said

" Okay go downstairs and wait for me okay" I said to major and she nodded her head as she ran out the room

I zipped up our suitcases and headed downstairs placing them at the door

"Mels before you leave can I get your number" He asked. " I don't have a phone. That bitch ass nigga took it" I smacked my lips

"You gotta pencil and a paper so I can write my number down so when you do get a phone you can text me" He chuckled

" I haven't been here in a long time so I don't know where the pens are" I said

He walked away and went to find a paper n pen

" Here you go. Call me if you need anything okay?" He said. "Okay" I nodded my head as I grabbed the paper out his hand

"Actually......I kinda do need a favor" I mumbled. "What is it?" He asked

" I was wondering if me and them could stay at your place for a little bit until we find out what we wanna do next" I said

"Yea, Y'all can crash at my crib" He said. "Forreal" I asked. "Yea I'm serious" He sighed

"Okay but we gotta start leaving New York now" I said
