Chapter One: Another Day 📆

Rainbow Dash's Pov 7:02am

*Beep beep beep-* "UGH! SHUT IT!" I yelled and slammed my alarm clock. Why do these even exist? Great, school... Note the sarcasm. I grabbed a white cropped shirt, jeans, and my usual jacket. Guess I'll just have toast again. I slipped on my clothes and headed down for some food. "Sis, you need to eat prop-" My brother Fire Streak started, "NO TIME FIRE!" I said and stuffed some bread into my mouth. "But you- UGHHH! Why can't you just- Whatever..." He sighed, "Love you." I said, and gave him a quick hug and sprinted out the door, I unlocked my car door and got in. *Turns on radio* Oh wait, I forgot to introduce myself... Ahem, I'm Rainbow Iris Dash, captain of the soccer team at CHS, and I'm awesome of course. I have an 18 year old brother, Fire Streak. And he's kinda protective of me. Anyways...

I parked my car in the school parking lot and then walked around to find my friends. "Sup guys." I said and stood next to Fluttershy. "HI DASHIE!!!" Pinkie squealed. *Pinkie squeezes Dash* "Can't-Breath" I said, I softly hit Pinkie when she put me down, "Hey!" She pouted, "So, how was your summer darling?" Rarity asked... Suspiciously... Hmm, what's she up to now? "Nothing much, just you know sleeping, eating, playing sports-" I said, but Rarity cut me off... "Anything interesting that you did?" She asked while examining her nails. "What is that supposed to mean?! I am interesting!" I shrieked, "No boyfriends, no makeovers? Anything?!" She asked, "Ew! Rares, you know I hate boys. And you know I don't even own makeup, I think..." I sighed, "But your brother is really-" She smirked, "Nope! Sorry you're not going to go date my brother and break his heart, okay!" I said cutting Miss Bossy off. I mean Rarity... Yeah... "Hmph. Whatever." She groaned. Well, I don't care! Fire Streak is not going to date Rarity! Not a chance. "Com'on girls, we have classes to attend to remember?" Twilight said, looking at her watch. Did she have to remind me?! "Ughhh, fineee." I groaned and slipped my backpack on my shoulder. "Me and Fluttershy have art first!!!" Pinkie squealed in excitement, as per usual. "Uh, yay." Fluttershy said quietly, "See y'all later me and Rarity have, uh... Dance... Great, this will be fun." Applejack sighed, HAHAHA! IMAGINE HAVING DANCE WITH RARITY... "Me and Sunset, who is not here yet. Have READING together! Yay!" Twi squealed, And I have Math... Alone... Yay... "I have Math." I said, trying my best not to look disappointed, "Aw, it's alright Dashie! We all probably have classes with you LATER." Pinkie comforted me. "Well, I'll see you girls later, bye!" I said and started to walk to my locker. "BYE!!!" Pinkie said in the distance. I smiled at her loud commotion.

*Dinggg* That's the late bell. Just my luck. I'm late on the first day back. I already went up and down the stairs twice trying to find this dang classroom! Now I'm upstairs AGAIN. Well, before I go ask for help I'll check one more time downstairs I guess. Why do I need so many books? I don't understand... Just school being- *Dash trips on a stair* "WOAH!" I screamed, "Woah, easy there princess! You okay?" A voice said catching me just before I hit the floor. "I-I, WAIT, DON'T CALL ME THAT!" I shrieked as I took his arms off of me. "Okay, feisty I see." He smirked. "I'm fine." I said responding to the boy. He had navy blue hair, with pale blue skin. Familiar emerald eyes... Okay, he has some defined muscles... He's kinda hot... "Take a picture, it lasts longer." He whispered in my ear. "I-I, uhm." I blushed, whoops... "I know I'm hot, but you don't have to stare." He winked, "I-I w-wasn't!" I stuttered, why am I stuttering?! "So princess, what's your name?" He smirked. "None of your business!" I said and started to walk away. "Com'on what class do you have?" He asked, "I have Math! Now go away dude!" I screamed and pushed him aside, "Well, that makes two of us." He smirked, and wrapped his arm around me. Are. You. Serious. I just got here and boys are already flirting with me?! Seriously?! Does the world just hate me?!

Time Skip 12:02pm

"Great." I muttered under my breath, that same guy from the stairs is right behind me. He flashed me a quick smirk and got an apple from Granny Smith. I grabbed my food from Granny Smith and walked over to my friend's table. I slammed my food down and put my head down. "GAH! Goodness, darling. Do you have to do that?" Rarity shrieked. "Mhm." I mumbled with my head still down. "Just got tons of math homework, and got more guys to deal with." I sighed and ate some of my food. "NOW THAT'S- I mean, oh no... A guy flirting with you for the third year in a row? Oh nooo..." Rarity said bored. Yup, this isn't the first time this happened. But when I push the boys away, they usually back off. The guy from earlier, however... Didn't... "Twilight, can you do my homework?" I asked her, "Fine." She said trying to look bored, but is probably secretly happy to do Math homework. "I know you're happy. Don't thank me, you're welcome." I smirked. She rolled her eyes and went to throw out her trash. *Dinggg* Ughhh, can't school just be over already?!

Time Skip 3:42pm

"YOU'RE FINALLY HOME!" Fire Streak shouted as I opened the door. "Well, I didn't feel like running here okay?!" I rolled my eyes at him. "Com'on tell me about your day." He said as I dragged myself to the couch. "It was fine, just the usual. Boys, homework, you know." I sighed, "Seriously, I think we need to get a restraining order for all the boys that come near you." He laughed. "I know! And this guy wouldn't like, back off!" I shouted, "Well, just call me if you have any BOY problems." He laughed, "Haha." I playfully rolled my eyes and headed to my room. Since Twilight is doing my homework... I have nothing to do! Great... I'm bored now... Wait! I'll just call Soarin! Yeah, okay... *Phone ringing* "Hi Dashie!" Soarin answered the phone. "Hey Soar. When are you getting here?! I'm so boreddd!" I complained, "I haven't seen you in years okay, I'm just as eager as you, to get there. I'll be there soon alright?" He said on the other line of the phone. "Okay..." I said sadly. "I got to Canterlot yesterday, but I haven't actually been to my house yet. I had to stay in a hotel for the night. But I did go to school today." He said, "WHAT SCHOOL?!" I yelled. "It's- Gosh, I gotta go Dash. Bye!" He hung up, "WAIT- UGH!" I groaned. This guy expects me to wait longer?! UGHHH!!! He's literally my best friend, and is supposed to be there for me? Right? Wrong! He's been in Los Pegasus for the past few years since we were like 10, I think... Yeah, 6 years dude! I have no idea what he even looks like anymore, all I know is that his voice got deeper! My mom said that Soarin's family is supposed to be my next door neighbor. Which is cool I guess. And he said he went to school?! Which school!? There's like 50 million schools! What if he went to Canterlot High, and I didn't even notice him?! That means I'm a pretty bad friend. Okay, whatever, I don't care.

Time Skip 8:35pm

"Dashhh! We're eating dinner!!!" Fire yelled from downstairs. "Coming!" I replied, Soarin freaking Skies is still not here! Like what's his excuse now? I went to a fancy hotel! And ate a fancy dinner, I couldn't come, sorry! Like dude, just get into a car, and drive to your house. Not that hard! "DASH!" Fire Streak yelled once again, "STOP!!!" I yelled as I ran downstairs. "Finally, we're eating-" He was cut off by none other than me. "Yeah salad, I know." I sighed and sat in a chair. "Just eat." He said and sat down next to me. After minutes of eating I finished and headed to my room. Soarin... Where are you? I miss you... I guess I'll just read a book...
