"How ya feeling, Echo?" Malaina asked, looking over her shoulder at the clone who had woken up from surgery moments ago. He gave a thumbs up, smiling at her with his eyes closed.

Malaina nodded, turning back around to face the Sergeant who sat on the surgical table. Adjusting the head shaver in her hand, she raises an eyebrow and smirks at Hunter. "Ready to go bald?"

Hunter looked alarmed, which made the Inquisitor laugh at his pure fear of losing his precious locks.

"I'm kidding, you'll be able to hide your bald spot under your bandana. I'll make sure of it. No worries." Malaina explained, removing the red cloth from his head and resting a hand over the place his incision will be made. "Right here, okay?"

"Just get it done with." Hunter grumbled, pinching the bridge of his nose. Omega came over and rested a hand on his knee, offering a supportive smile.

"Yes, sir." Malaina muttered, switching on the shaver and getting to work.

And soon the Sergeant was chipless, resting against the wall with the other two clones that wore a medical patch on the same spot of their heads.

Tech was next, sitting on the table and looking into Malaina's eyes. He wasn't nervous, not in the slightest, but the warmness that he got in his heart while watching Malaina was something he desired to feel before going under for brain surgery.

"What kind of haircut are you thinking, Goggles?" Malaina asked, smiling down at his seated position. She squinted, looking over the shape of his head, the length of his curly hair that she was constantly tempted to thread her fingers through.

Malaina clicked her tongue. "You know what, you'd look cute with a mohawk." She suggested.

Tech raised an eyebrow, tilting his head slightly. "You really think so?" He subconsciously began running his gloved hand through his hair while he imagined what that would feel like.

Malaina nodded instantly. "Oh, yeah." She confirmed, raising a hand to brush it through his hair but paused, ears going pink. "May I?" She asked breathily. Tech gulped, nodding his head ever-so-slightly.

"This room's heating up." Hunter commented. Rex hummed in agreement. Malaina sent a glare their way before hooking a hand into the curls that sat on top of Tech's head.

"Proceed, Malaina. I trust you implicitly." Tech said supportively, glancing at the head shaver she held in her other hand. His eyes fluttered shut when her fingers tugged slightly at the roots of his hair. Oh what he would do to make her do that forever.

Malaina bit her bottom lip, unhooking her hand from his hair while stepping between his legs to get a better reach to remove his goggles. Her eyes traced over the lines on his upper cheeks that were left from the circular lenses pressing into his skin.

"Here we go." She announces softly. She began shaving off the hair on the side his incision will be, then moved to the other and made it look the same.

Once Malaina was done, she took a step away and leaned back a little, assessing her work. She hummed in content. "Cute." She said quietly, and without thinking.

Tech was as pink as a corundum.

"Looking good, man." Hunter chimed.

"Send all compliments to Mal." Tech responded, the corner of his mouth turning up when he made eye contact with Malaina. Hunter gave her a smug wiggle of his eyebrows before getting out of the way.

She cleaned up the hair mess and then injected the sedative into Tech's system. "Nighty night." Malaina grinned, guiding Tech to lay down on the table with Echo's help. She gave Tech's hand a tight squeeze once she knew he was out and then quickly got the operation started.
