Act 18, Scene 1:
Jack and Tom cautiously navigate the labyrinthine mansion, their flashlights casting long, eerie shadows on the decaying walls. Each room they enter seems to hold more secrets and more dangers than the last. The air is thick with tension as they press on, determined to uncover the truth.
Suddenly, a chilling breeze sweeps through the corridor, extinguishing their flashlights. Darkness envelopes them, and they can hear faint whispers growing louder with each passing second.
Jack: (whispering) Stay close, Tom. We can't let fear consume us.
Tom: (gritting his teeth) Right behind you, Jack. We've faced worse than this.
Act 18, Scene 2:
As they navigate in the darkness, Jack and Tom's senses become heightened. They rely on their instincts, feeling their way through the maze-like mansion. The whispers grow more distinct, their words laced with malevolence.
Jack: (whispering) Did you hear that? It sounded like a voice calling for help.
Tom: (straining his ears) I heard it too. Let's follow the sound, but stay alert.
Act 18, Scene 3:
They trace the source of the voice to a hidden room, its door barely visible against the dilapidated walls. Pushing it open, they find a terrified woman chained to the wall, her eyes filled with desperation.
Woman: (pleadingly) Please, you have to help me! They're coming for me.
Jack: (quickly releasing her from the chains) Don't worry, we're here to get you out of here. Can you tell us what happened?
Woman: (shaking) I was lured here by promises of riches and power. But it was a trap. They wanted to use me for some dark ritual, and the others... they didn't make it.
Act 18, Scene 4:
Jack and Tom escort the woman out of the mansion, vowing to bring those responsible to justice. The supernatural presence within the mansion intensifies, as if aware of their intrusion. They know they must confront the evil lurking in the shadows.
Tom: (determined) We can't let them get away with this. We have to put an end to their twisted game.
Jack: (nodding) Agreed. We'll gather more evidence, rally the forces, and come back prepared. No one else will suffer under their hands.
