Act 2, Scene 1:

The news of Mike's murder spreads quickly through the town, and fear grips the residents. Tom is determined to find the killer and bring them to justice.

Tom: (to his team) We need to work fast on this one. We can't let this killer strike again.

One of the officers speaks up.

Officer: Sir, we found some footprints and tire tracks near the scene. Maybe we can use them to track down the killer.

Tom nods.

Tom: Good work. Let's follow those leads and see where they take us.

Act 2, Scene 2:

Meanwhile, Jack is tormented by the events of the previous night. He can't shake the feeling that he's being watched, and he knows that he's in danger.

Jack: (to himself) What have I done? I never meant for anyone to get hurt. But now, I have to protect myself.

He checks his rifle and heads back into the woods, determined to find the killer before they find him.

Act 2, Scene 3:

As the investigation continues, the police discover that the murders are linked to a group of wealthy hunters who have been illegally hunting in the woods for years. They confront the group, and a fierce battle ensues.

In the chaos, Tom comes face to face with the killer, who turns out to be Jack.

Tom: (aiming his gun) Jack, put down your weapon. It's over.

Jack: (shaking) I didn't mean for any of this to happen. I was just trying to protect myself.

Tom lowers his gun.

Tom: (sighing) I understand, Jack. But you can't take the law into your own hands. We'll get you the help you need.

Act 2, Scene 4:

In the aftermath of the confrontation, the hunters are brought to justice, and Jack receives the help he needs to cope with the trauma he's experienced. The town slowly returns to normal, but the memory of the murders lingers.

As the curtain falls, the audience is left to ponder the consequences of taking justice into one's own hands and the delicate balance between hunting for sport and hunting for survival.
