A/N: This is something I've been experimenting on. Wanna see more of it?

Nathalie Sancoeur was tired. After her recovery from using the broken miraculous, she had quit her employment at the Agreste household and started to work for a large  company, which mostly hired people to rent them out to other companies and factories, when those were lacking special employees or when there were many people on sick leave at once or just too much work for the actual staff.

Like this, those firms could have there work done, without having to go through all the paperwork, a new employee would bring and on top of that, just send them away, once their work was finished.

Nathalie took a deep breath and pressed on the button in front of her, saying into the microphone,

"The next one please. Number 147."

Fixing her eyes on the door to her office, she waited for the knock and as it came immediately answered with,

"Yes, come in!"

She looked at the tall man, who was hesitantly entering the room and gasped in shock.

"G-Gabriel! What are you doing here?"

He scoffed, then asked,

"What does it look like? I am here to beg you to hire me!"

"Yeah, right." Nathalie sneered. "Would you please leave and let me do my job?"

Gabriel ignored her and held out a portfolio to her, pleading,

"Here are all my papers, curriculum vitae, previous employments and so on. I wasn't joking, Nathalie. I really need this job. I've been in so many places already, nobody is willing to give the former supervillain a chance. Despite me, having done my prison time already. If not for me, at least give me a chance for Adrien! I have sold the mansion and the company, so I could pay everything I had to, even the fee the court ruled me to pay. I have a little money left, but I need it to buy a new place for Adrien and me. I want him to live in a safe neighbourhood and not in some cheap little apartment. Because that's all I am able to afford as things appear to be now."

"Where are you staying right now?" Nathalie pried.

He gazed to the ground.

"We have to move out until the end of the week. Adrien will be staying with Marinette until I found something I can afford. They were the only people who treated me normal and not as if I would still try to cause trouble all over the city. I was hoping, I could convince André to let me stay in one of the hotel rooms for a couple of days. To an oldest friend amount of money!"

Nathalie scoffed.

"After what you did to him? Here," she opened a drawer from her desk and pulled out a small keychain with an old, used key. "That's my spare key. I'll write the address down for you, it's a little tricky to find. Once you're there, you'll figure out, which one the guest room is."

Gabriel's eyes widened as he heard her words.

"Nathalie, I... it's really kind and sweet and I wouldn't want to sound ungrateful, but... I wouldn't even know how to pay for the extra expenses I might cause. Thank you anyway!"

He stood up and was about to leave, giving her a light tilt with his head to thank her, when the woman jumped to her feet and grabbed his arm.

"I will just cut it off from your salary. If you cause any extra costs, I mean. The only job I can offer you just now, as you aren't qualified for any of the open spots, is the vacant spot as my personal assistant.
