Aether ~ Attraction (AetherxReader)

"Well I'm glad I didn't have that problem yet." you said, biting into your own sandwich. 

The rest of the afternoon passed smoothly, and by the end of it, you had gotten pretty familiar with the bass guitar. Rain had taught you a few basic riffs, and Mountain cheered you on as you managed to play them correctly. 

"Great, I think we'll stop here." Rain finally said. "Dinner is coming up, and we don't want to be late."

"Who are we eating with?" you asked.

"We spend most dinners between us ghouls, and Papa often joins us, except when he's busy working." the water ghoul answered. 

"Cool! So I'm going to meet everyone?" you asked excitedly.

"Yep!"

While talking, the three of you got up and headed towards the exit. You walked through the main hall and turned towards the south east wing, to the dinner hall. While you had quickly gotten a glance of it the day before, when Mountain had given you a tour of the ministry, you hadn't fully noticed how beautiful the room was. A grand chandelier hung from the ceiling, its many lights bathing the room in a comfortable glow. A tapestry on the wall pictured scenes of ghouls playing instruments, and of a grandiose Papa guiding them. 

The table was set, and a few ghouls were already seated and chatting amongst themselves. When the three of you entered the room, all eyes settled on you. You recognised Dew, who was chatting with two other ghouls you hadn't met yet. They all had similar masks, which you thought would make it hard for you to recognise everyone, but you were quickly reassured when you noticed that each ghoul was of different height, and that they all had very different personalities. 

"They're back!" Dew exclaimed when he saw you come in.

The two other ghouls turned around and greeted you with a warm smile. They looked more feminine than the other ghouls. 

"Welcome darling!" The shortest one said, getting up and greeting you with a warm hug. "You look so young, you're such a cutiepie." She said, looking at you with sparkling eyes. 

"Cumulus, don't overwhelm the poor child." the other one said. "It's very nice to meet you, this is Cumulus, and my name is Cirrus. We're air ghoulettes." the taller one explained. 

"It's very nice to meet you too." you answered with a warm smile as you quickly hugged the second ghoulette. Their caring welcome warmed your heart and you couldn't stop yourself from smiling widely.

The door opened once again and two other ghouls entered the room. 

"Oh my Satan, they're here!!" one of them called, and skipped towards you happily. "I'm Sunshine, nice to meet you."

The other ghoul quickly followed and shook your hand. "I'm Swiss." he simply said with a cute smile. 

"Nice to meet you both" you greeted them, and they sat down next to one another on the opposite side of the table. 

Mountain pulled a chair for you, and sat down to your left. Cumulus took her place left of Mountain, and Cirrus sat to your right. Across from you, next to Sunshine, Dew flashed you a huge smile as he rested his head on his hands. 

Suddenly, silence was made when the door opened once again and Papa entered, wearing a lovely black suit. 

"Good evening my dear ghouls!" he called out with a happy tone. 

"How fancy you are tonight." Mountain pointed out, complimenting his Papa.

"Thank you Mountain, I simply had to dress smartly to welcome our newest member of the family, which I'm sure you've all already met by now." he said, looking at you with a warm smile.
