The main character is setting off on a trip to the country he was raised in but not born in, all for the sack of babysitting a kid, that's unbelievable and the same time ironically funny! 

Or perhaps that was just a cover-up for something else...?

He gathered his belongings and made arrangements to board a train from Berlin to Moscow to meet that individual, despite his doubts about placing his trust in someone with such a questionable past. Additionally, he couldn't help but wonder why he specifically chose this person to look after his child, instead of considering other options.

However, this is not the moment to ponder over it; at present, he needs to catch a train. Without delay, he boarded a bus heading to the train station. Fortunately, he arrived on time. Passing through security effortlessly, he quickly proceeded to the train that would take him to Moscow.

He hands his ticket to a staff member and proceeds to embark on the train. Settling into an unoccupied seat, he retrieves a book from his bag and engrosses himself in its pages, patiently awaiting the arrival of fellow passengers. Numerous individuals pass by him, presumably with their destinations or purposes in mind.

After some time, he perceives the sound of the train's whistle emanating from outside. The noise fails to distract him from his reading material. He presumes that the conductor is inspecting the functionality of the steam trumpet. Subsequently, a laborer's voice can be heard shouting from beyond his location.

"Der Zug fährt jetzt ab!" The worker shouted.

The train is likely departing presently. He sets aside his book, glancing out the window at individuals bidding adieu to their cherished companions as they embark on journeys far from this place. The sight fills him with a sense of despondency for reasons unclear, prompting him to dispel these thoughts and resume reading.

Then the train departs from the train station and heads to its next destination, he sees various trees and villages along the way. A few hours later, he hears the train's car door opening, and two men come out from the other side and say:

Man 1: "Attention, please! We will conduct a thorough inspection of your belongings to ensure safety measures and compliance with the rules in place. However, if we come across any illegal or counterfeit documents, weapons, or any items that are not typically necessary for you, you will be detained. Upon reaching the next station, you will be escorted off the train and taken into custody. Is that clear?"

The occupants of the train compartment wear anxious expressions on their faces as they silently acknowledge the man's words. A profound silence fills the air, devoid of any spoken communication. Before the arrival of the two men, the passengers engaged in cheerful conversations, discussing their day, news, and work. However, a palpable tension now hangs in the room, creating an atmosphere of unease.

The men proceed to inspect each individual's baggage on both sides in a sequential manner, gradually approaching the man positioned at the rear. Observing their intense gaze, it becomes evident that they have stumbled upon something dubious. Without warning, the man firmly seizes the woman's arm and forcefully pulls her away from her designated spot. In a state of distress, the woman cries out and implores the man for mercy.
