Back in the base, the rest of the resistance was huddled inside the meeting room, the tension thick in the air as they absorb the news.

The tactician was seen sat at the farthest corner, weighing in the words that left Arba's lips a few moments ago.

The creatures were growing unease.

Having been freed from the shackles of the Orthodox church, various species has grace the lands since then, and yet it also invokes chaos in its wake. Perhaps it was the drastic differences among them, the fear of the unknown itself too much to the point that they desire leadership, laws, the firm regulations to keep them on their feet.

But who, who would lead them during these desperate times?

The tactician's hands shook as visions started to appear one after another, blocking her thoughts once more, the distant voices inside the room now fading ever so slightly as she let her memories of that vision wallow her completely.

"....at the top of the government!"

"Don't call me king."

"Are you sure an equal world can truly be achieve?"

Shaking her head, she seemed to find comfort when her gaze went straight towards the blue haired man sat at the center of the resistance members. He had a neutral look etched across his face aside from the light frown on his eyebrows, seemingly deep in his thoughts.

Who wouldn't blame him though?

He's the only person, every living creature looks up to, there's no denying that if this ended towards democracy, he'd be hailed as the king. It's possible, and that's what scares her the most.

She couldn't imagine the weight that his shoulders will bore if the need arises and he had to be in charge.

His words echoes inside her head.

No, she wouldn't want that.

She wouldn't allow him to become someone he despise.

Later that night, the tactician finds herself unable to sleep, the genuine worry in Arba's voice seemed to haunt her up until now.

If the conflict continues on, it'll led to a war, and in war there will be chaos. A complete opposite of something Solomon desires.

A sigh left her lips as she went to fetch her glass of water, chugging it all down in one go.

What could she possibly do?

And just then she heard a knock, twice, thrice, then a voice come right after,

"(Name)... are you asleep?"

"...may I come in?"

It was Arba.

The tactican sat on her bed, fully awake as she sets her full attention at the older female sitting on her vanity chair. The magician seemed at ease as she gave her a warm smile

"I hope I have not interrupted anything?"

She slowly shake her head in response,

This further put her at ease as she went to slowly take in the tactician's hands in her own, "You know very well what's happening, right?"

The younger female simply stared, her mind whirring that for some strange reason she wants to yank her hands away from the magician.

But still, she finds it unnecessary, Arba is her friend. Solomon's trusted companion. Naturally, she'd be someone she always felt at ease with. But again, for the strangest of reasons, she felt a gnawing itch at the back of her mind, what causing such disturbance however, remained unknown, or mayhaps she had forgotten it long ago.
