10 BBY, Mos Eisley Tatooine
Leaning on the windowsill of her room, with the smell of the magnolia coming in on that warm day, Kaileen Gozen, a bit taller than her nine years, was writhing with impatience, her little feet in demure little black shoes stamping quite loudly on the parquet. Her eyes on the outside, she was unaware of the angry frown on Kira's face as she tried to discipline the hair of the rather undisciplined child she's looking out while their mother went for a morning errand with Owen Lars.
"Come on, Kai. Stop fidgeting like that!" Kira mumbles as her pins are in-between her teeth, trying to hold on the child who seems rather excited to meet her best friend.
The young girl hasn't visited Tatooine for ten months due to her preparation for apprenticeship, hoping she'll either be at a prominent university in Chandrila or Coruscant when she turns fourteen. It's a heavy task for Kaileen Gozen, even to her twin brother, Rokubei who is also struggling with the amount of homework they have – of course, being under the strict eyes of Ryoo Naberrie would make them finish their assignments and read their books.
