11 BBY, Western Dune Sea
Tatooine

Farther from the Lars homestead lies the dry and solitary Western Dune sea. Nothing can be seen but various sounds can be heard. Either the solemn wail of a dying Bantha due to lack of food or ancient chants of the Tusken Raiders that can be echoed through the howls of the desert. Stories of ghosts in the Western Dune sea terrifies children. There is a lot of hearsay about what lies beneath the sands but no one dares to wander to these dunes because most people who venture never come back.

A lone man, wrapped in old Jedi robes is gazing on the horizon while the twin suns are high above the sky. He noticed the unusual clouds and the strong dusty winds; there's a storm coming. But not rain, never rain, he thought. In all his time on Tatooine, he only witnessed rain once when he arrived four days after he traveled far away from the homestead, away from the boy that he'll look after for the rest of his life and knowing full well that Luke is in good hands with Beru and Owen Lars.

He has faith in them.

He knew very well that the boy would have good parent figures and a loving home. The man can't deny himself that he had grown accustomed to the small child in his arms, and it tore his heart apart to see those blue eyes beaming at him. Luke is indeed an image of his lost friend; as eternal sadness invades his soul whenever he checks the boy from afar.
