"Looking for something?" A familiar voice asked.

I felt my heart stop as I heard his voice. I turned around, seeing William loom over me.

"No... No. Why would I be looking for anything?" I ask, trying to play it off. Inside I could feel my heart racing.

"Don't act naive," He smirked. "I know Michael told you."

"What?" I say, trying to sound as confused as possible. I probably sounded like a complete idiot. Curse my ability of not being able to lie.

"You know exactly what I'm talking about."

"Leave me alone," I mumble, trying to walk away but he blocks my path.

"You and I need to have a chat," He says coldly, standing in front of me.

"There's nothing to talk about." I say, feeling more and more anxious.

"I'm just letting you know, Michael isn't as innocent as he says." He sneered.

"You're lying to me," I reply, defending Mike. "Michael is a great guy."

"Oh you don't have to believe me, but why would I lie? You barely even know him." He replied. I felt my jaw clench.

God, he was really good at pushing peoples' buttons.

"He doesn't care about you," William replied smugly. "And him and I aren't so different."

"What are you talking about?" I question, starting to bite my lip nervously.

"He killed his own brother" He answered. I felt my face go pale.

I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I trusted him, and he never gave me any signs that he would have done anything like that. He had to be lying.

"No, I don't believe you," I replied, as I choked on my own words. "He would never hurt anyone!"

"Oh but he has," He smirked. "And it won't be long before he hurts you."

"Just leave us alone." I frown, walking away before he grabs my wrist, stopping me.

"You two better watch your backs," He threatened, letting go of my wrist. As he walked away, I stood frozen in place.

What the fuck do I do!?

"Hey [Y/N], you okay?" Michael asks walking up to me. He must've not seen me talking to his father.

I wanted to sob. I wanted to scream.

"I'm fine... I just wanna go home." I mumble, crossing my arms.

"Yeah, yeah I can take you home," He says with concern in his voice. "Did something happen?"

Yes, my whole world just came crashing down.

"No, I just wanna be home" I mumble. I couldn't even bare to look at him.

"We'll see you later Jeremy," Michael says, leaving us alone.

The car ride had been completely silent. I stared out the passenger window, wishing it wasn't true.

As we walked into my apartment, Michael broke the silence.

"Hey you know you can tell me anything right? We're friends." Michael says, placing a hand on my shoulder.

"No... I don't think I can" I mumble, looking away from him. I immediately pull myself away from him.

"Why are you acting like this?" He asks, sounding hurt.

Because you killed your brother.

"I can't trust anyone, that's why" I mumble, looking down at the ground.

"Well, you can always trust me," He says, trying to make me feel better.

I can't. You lied to me. You kept secrets from me.

"I don't think I can Michael" I say biting my lip.

"What? What are you talking about?" He asks, looking confused.

"I'm talking about your brother. You... You killed him." I yell, turning back toward him.

I couldn't even say it.

"[Y/N] wait... It was an acci-" He cries out.

"How do you kill someone on accident!?" I yell, getting upset with his excuses.

"I was hurting and I took it out on-" He pleads, clearly distressed.

"No, shut up!" I yell. He looked at me with tears in his eyes.

"Please just let me explain!" He begs.

"No. You lied to me! You made me believe that I could trust you." I cry.

"You can trust me, I've changed I swear!" He pleads.

"No, fuck you! You don't get to tell me what to do!" I snap, pushing him away from me.

"[Y/N] I-" He stutters.

"You're just like him Michael..." I whisper, my voice trembling with fear.

"Don't compare me to that bastard ever again!" He yells, now angry.

"Why? Because you don't wanna admit that you're just like him? Fuck Michael you two even look the same!" I yell back. He looks at me, now pissed off.

"You know what? Fuck this, you're on your own." He snaps.

"What!?" I gasp.

"If I'm just like him, then I'll leave you alone." He says walking towards the door.

"No wait!" I cry. "I can't do this alone!"

"I care a lot about you [Y/N]," He began, looking back at me. "I really do, but maybe it's best if we don't see each other ever again."

"Fine!" I yell, looking straight into his tear filled eyes.

With that he slammed the door behind him, leaving me all alone. I sunk on my couch, now sobbing. I heard my door open but I didn't even look up to see who it was.

"[Y/N] what's going on?" I heard Jess ask.

"Michael's gone," I cry, not looking up. "And it's my fault."
