Misunderstanding (Medic & Sniper) (AU)

"You did great today." You said, cause Mundy to turn and smile at you.

"Thanks, love. You did pretty well yourself."

You walked over and sat by the window too, grabbing Mundy's hand to hold it but in a way that if someone looked up at the window they wouldn't notice. The two of you just sat there talking, enjoying each other's company. Halfway through the conversation, Jeremy had come up to see Mundy but he stopped at the door when he heard you say something that sounded surprising to him.

"You know we could have some fun before Ludwig gets back tomorrow." You smiled.

"Someone sounds eager to get in my pants." Mundy laughed.

"How can I not be, you're amazing in bed."

Jeremy put his hand over his mouth to hide his gasp. He quickly ran down the stairs and to the base. He was unsure what to think.

'Should I tell someone...' Jeremy thought for a moment. 'No, I should look for proof.'

Jeremy had run to the medbay and into you and Ludwig's bedroom in the back. Jeremy walked in unsure of where he would find possible evidence, but he just began looking around. He looked in the drawers, in the closet, under pillows. It wasn't until he looked under the bed that he found a small brown box. Jeremy pulled it out and looked inside.

At first, it was just pictures of you and Ludwig but then he saw pictures of you and Mundy. Jeremy gasped, pulling the pictures out, completely ignoring the pictures at the bottom of the box. He closed the box and put it back where he found it before leaving the room with the pictures he found.

Jeremy sat through dinner trying desperately not to say anything about what he found, he didn't want you and Mundy to know what he knew. Once dinner was over and you and Mundy went to bed, Jeremy got up.

"I need us to have a team meeting," Jeremy said.

"(Y/N) and Mundy just left, why did you wait until now to say that?" Tavish asked.

"Because it's about them, I've found something out that is bad!" Jeremy exclaimed.

The team looked at each other before heading into the meeting room.

"What did you find out Jeremy? Are they evil traitors!?" Jane yelled.

"No, nothing like that but it's bad!" Jeremy said.

"Boy, stop beating around the bush and say it." Dell crossed his arms.

"I have reason to believe (Y/N) is cheating on Ludwig with Mundy." Jeremy finally said.

"What? Why would you think that?" Phoenix asked.

"Because I heard them, I went to Mundy's nest to see why he didn't come down once the battle was over and he was there holding hands with (Y/N) and they were talking about sleeping together before Ludwig gets back tomorrow," Jeremy explained. "Who knows, they could have been having sex for the past four days, (Y/N) has been "sleeping" in Mundy's van since Ludwig has been gone."

"Now, Jeremy, you might have just misheard them," Dell said.

"He may not be wrong, I know (Y/N) isn't having night terrors," Jacques said, taking a drag of his cigarette.

"What? How do you know that?" Dell asked.

"Well after the second night of hearing her talk about her night terrors, I thought I'd check on her that night to make sure she was okay. When I saw she was fine, I cloaked and was about to start my night sneaking around, but before I left the room she woke up. She didn't seem like she had a nightmare, but she got up and left the room, so I followed her." Jacques explained. "She went to Mundy's van and he seemed happy to see her when he opened the door and she's not sleeping on his couch, she's sleeping in bed with him."
