"Nova, these are cute thank you!" Exclaimed Tatiana, who's her last client of the day. Usually after all her classes Nova would open up her space to do nails.
Since she was a college student living far away from home, she found it as a easy way to make money instead of begging her mother. Who's all the way in New York to send her some when she's already struggling enough as it is.
Nova grew up in south Bronx where she lived with her mother Maria who worked two jobs just to provide for them.
Her father was a non factor in her life after abandoning her mother during her pregnancy.
"Thanks TT, I'm just gonna get a picture for the gram then you can go love." Nova replied, whilst taking the money from the girl.
Pulling out her phone she took a picture of the girls hands.
