Master Secura and Master Yoda entered the police station. The sliding doors parted for the Jedi and they were immediately greeted by a police officer.

'Thank you for coming so quickly...' the hummanoid officer went to address the two as 'ma'am' and 'sir', but paused. In a blue black uniform, the policeman looked between the Jedi Masters in an awkward silence.

'Show us this thief, could you, officer?' Master Yoda prompted, motioning his clawed hand to the hallway.

'Y-yes, of course.'

Master Secura tried to give a sympathetic smile to the policeman, who swivelled on his heel in a rigid turn. The Twi'lek waited for the Grand Master to follow, which he did in a slow hobble, before walking the length of the hallway.

The policeman gave a brief recount of the incident as he led them through the station. He was nervous, but attempted to keep his composure while in the presence of two Jedi. Master Secura decided to relieve the man of his recollection, and asked,

'Who was this seen by?'

'The shopkeeper. It was only a few biscuits, but seeing them float through the air was enough for him to get in contact with us,' the policeman said. 'She wasn't hard to find but it was catching her that was the issue. She was jumping over walls and spinning through small cracks. Quite the stuff of Jedi-'

'Know that yet, we do not,' Master Yoda interrupted with a hum. 'From your description, this child sounds thieving, yes, but Jedi worthy, we do not know.'

'Of course, sir. Sorry, sir.'

Master Secura felt sorry for the policeman who didn't speak again after Master Yoda's interruption. No one besides the Jedi Order would understand the ways of the Jedi. The Force was their guide and if the Force alerted them of a user, they would be certain. But they hadn't foreseen this child, making them sceptical. But to Master Secura, this sounded like an extremely talented, Force-sensitive child. Jumping over walls and slipping through cracks was a large indication of this.

'Talk to the child, we will,' Master Yoda stated as they stopped in front of the interrogation room. A square window sat at the top and Master Secura resisted peaking in before Master Yoda entered first.

The policeman left the Jedi to enter the room. They could take care of themselves as Jedi, and it was only a child in his eyes. With the Force, Master Yoda opened the sliding door and it disappeared into the wall beside it. The room was white and held a white table where two chairs sat facing each other.

In the occupied chair sat a girl, no older than eight, with brown hair. It was long and held shades of red, the tips dry and frazzled as they skimmed her elbows. Her arms rested on the white table and her posture was slumped.

At the entrance of the two Jedi Masters, she turned her gaze from the empty chair she stared at.

'Hello,' Master Yoda greeted in his croaky voice. 'A young criminal we have, hm?'

A chuckle followed and the small Master made his way to the side of the girl. Master Secura followed and noticed how the girl's eyes were a soft lilac. Uncommon in humanoids, which is what the girl was, but striking, none the less.

But these eyes were heavy-lidded as they looked down at Master Yoda. Her lips were set in a tight line, almost in shame. Master Secura saw the dirty tunic the girl wore and the brown pants that covered her small legs. This girl was of a poorer class, and by the sounds of her crime, she was stealing out of desperation.

'I didn't steal anything,' a voice rang out that Master Secura and Master Yoda hadn't expected. The Twi'lek blinked at the lilac eyes that stared into her's and realised that this girl had heard her thoughts.

'Here to interrogate, we are not,' Master Yoda said. His three-fingered hands sat on the top of his walking stick and looked up at the girl with kind eyes.

'Here about your powers, we are.'

The child looked down at Master Yoda with raised eyebrows. Since she could remember, she could feel how others felt and hear their thoughts if she listened hard enough. It was something she couldn't explain and her ability to call things to her without a word had come in handy in her unprivileged life. She had been careful with how she used these powers and had been able to sneak food from stalls without much notice.

But she had lost concentration when calling some biscuits to her from around a corner, and the shopkeeper yelped at the sight of his stock flying away from him. The chase then ensued through alleyways and on rooftops, shocking the police who had been sent after her at the cry of theft.

'We believe that you may be Force-sensitive,' Master Secura stepped to be behind Master Yoda. She offered a kind smile to the child that she knew not many had given her in her life.

The Twi'lek could sense that there was very little darkness in this child and she knew that Master Yoda could sense this, too. It was a favourable trait to have, as those with little darkness were strong with the Force. But it also made the Force-wielder susceptible to corruption, as they were pure and had no experience with dark forces. The dark forces played on fears and vulnerability, something that the pure had weaknesses in.

Master Yoda and Master Secura quickly realised that it was vital to take the child into the care of the Jedi Order.

'What's that?' the girl questioned, and the innocence of a child's mind made Master Yoda chuckle.

'It is the way the Jedi sense things throughout the galaxy,' the Twi'lek explained simply. 'The Force is in everything and everyone. It is the way we see and are in life. It's how you can feel things that others can't. You can do things that others can't do. It's how you stole those biscuits from that shopkeeper.'

The child's lips parted to form an 'o' at the Jedi Master's words. She had heard of Jedi from stories and whispers of conversations she had eavsdropped on, but had never seen one or knew the details. She knew they were fearless warriors who had lightsabers and travelled across the galaxy. She envied their privilege of being able to travel the stars; the stars that she couldn't even see from her level of the city. And when her eyes travelled to the utility belt on the blue woman, she saw the handle of a lightsaber clipped in all its glory.

'A Jedi, you could be,' Master Yoda said. 'A skilled user of the Force, you could become. A great light, I sense in you, yes.'

Master Yoda hummed and nodded his head to himself. The girl thought this was strange, but when she looked to the blue-skinned woman behind him, she realised that it was normal for the small, hunched Jedi Master.

The Grand Master had been looking into the Force while Master Secura was speaking and found the light that encircled the girl in front of him. It was pure and radiating with such ferocity, he was shocked that the Order hadn't sensed her prior to this. There must be an explanation and he was already planning to hold a meeting about the strong presence this child had in the Force.

She could be the foretold Chosen One.

'What's your name?' Master Secura asked with a small smile. 'If you decide to become a young Jedi, we would need to know what title to give the girl with the prettiest eyes.'

The accused thief couldn't help but grin at the blue Twi'lek. She had perked up in her chair and shuffled her body to face the Jedi Masters.

Both Master Yoda and Master Secura mirrored the smile, as the girl answered,

'Sol. My name is Sol.'
