and instead of going back to sleep, Hyunjin thought it was a better idea to sabotage his health and little time of rest to watch Felix, which for the record he does every night before going to sleep, every time he wakes up, and every other time he's offered a chance by the universe. with a sigh Hyunjin decided he should probably get up and get ready for school but before he could Felix turned around and sprung himself upon Hyunjin, throwing himself completely over Hyunjin as he left the mattress and claimed Hyunjin's body as one making the raven head chuckle as he wrapped an arm around him

running a hand through the back of his Felix's hair he nuzzled his face in the crook of the warm boy's neck and took in the scent he's started associating home with eyes closed and lips pulled upward in a smile, but even through all of the contempt a thought of agony sailed through the waters into Hyunjin's ears 'he'll be gone soon, time's running so fast, he doesn't have long' his heart that was in sync with Felix suddenly stopped beating for a second before it came back to life and started drumming as it has never before, it was so painful the realization of how these days were flying away and he had so little left with Felix

he had to make good use of this time, he didn't want to regret the fact that he just let these days slip away into a moment in time. so he sighed and decided he'd hurry and help Felix as much as he could, love Felix as much as he could while he still had time. his grip over Felix tightened as he suddenly stopped caring about the fact that he was getting late, Felix was more important than anything else and he wanted to hold onto this moment forever, if forever couldn't happen then maybe a little bit longer, he'll make do with anything

"I hate school, like so much" Hyunjin's voice resonated in Felix's ears as he smiled watching the boy walk through the door of their apartment 'He'll take off his jacket and shoes, leave his belongings on the kitchen counter-' and Hyunjin did exactly as Felix had thought in his mind 'now he'll walk up to me, say something foolishly random, ask if I've eaten something and excuse himself to shower' his thoughts of a game he's made in his head continued to be true as Hyunjin walked up to him and muttered something truly foolish and random "I wish I was batman sometimes, minus the ugly mask" Felix had memorized this boy from the single strand of his hair falling in front of his eye to the mud on the bottom of his jeans

and he was absolutely aware and mesmerized by everything he did, except for what he did next. The raven head grabbed Felix's face gently as he hovered over the couch and him and leaned in to press a gentle kiss on his forehead, he left his lips to linger upon his forehead for a few seconds before he pulled away just in enough to gaze into Felix's eyes as he smiled sincerely and questioned: "have you eaten?" Felix was absolutely baffled, though he was still proven right but maybe he missed a minuscule detail in between, a detail of love

his eyes were so bright when they looked at Felix and the boy was left completely speechless, all he could do was gawk with widened eyes and lips that fell apart making Hyunjin sigh and stand straight on his two feet again, he ruffled the latter's hair before he walked away from the scene with a mutter of a few words "you better have, Felix"

while all Felix was left with a wild heart and burning cheeks, why does he do this? why does Hyunjin always drive him insane and then leave him to search for his sanity on his own? well, only if he was aware of how much sanity he was just about to lose in the upcoming day
