Spring break? Not exactly

Start from the beginning

It was photo time.

"Man, I can't believe I forgot the photo! I was just excited for spring break!", Mina sighed, swallowing her salmon.

Uraraka cussed, her pink t-shirt smushed with soy sauce, "I think you looked great, Ashido", she reassured her, licking her thumb and rubbing on the shirt.

Momo gasped and Katsuki tossed her a clean tissue.

"Not like that, Uraraka!"

"CHEEKS, STOP THAT MESS, YOU'RE ONLY WORSENING THE SITUATION!"

Uraraka flipped him off, "And what do you know about clothes?"

Crossing his arms, he sat straight on the chair, puffing his chest, "My oldies work in the fashion industry, I fucking know about clothes more than you do, Cheap Ass!"

"WAIT! YOU'RE BASICALLY RICH!", Uraraka was shocked.

"Hey, did you send a text to your dad?", Lenora slurped her soba, testing it cold like Todoroki suggested her.

"OF COURSE! I'M NOT A BAD SON!"

Len tilted her head, "Shut it, you forgot your mom's birthday in December and she called you angry!", and then she gave him an eat-shit grin, "But I should've remembered you're a daddy's boy."

The way he would never admit that was a fact, it was clear to both Len and Izuku. There were two people Katsuki admired as a child and looked at with the same glint in his eyes: All Might and his dad. Masaru was the explosive part of Katsuki's quirk, but despite that, he was a calm man, a loving husband, and a supporting father. If something broke down in the house, Masaru would fix it with a bit of genius and a screwdriver. He built Katsuki's first bike and repaired all of Len and Izuku's flat tires. He glued up cups and painted them to make it look like there wasn't crack at all, he sewed up all Katsuki's shirt's holes, he taught him how to play drums, guitar, and piano, he took the kids on the scariest rollercoasters despite his weak stomach, he created toys with wood and whatever materials he found with Tadashi's help. He did his best all his life, trying to be Katsuki's comfort person, without realizing he was already it. Kat loved his mom, obviously, but his dad was his daily hero.

"Oh oh oh! Kacchan is a daddy boy, mh?", Denki was the only one beside Deku who dared to call him Kacchan.

Kyoka fried his brain with her earphone jack, "Oh shut up! Last week you came to my room crying 'cause you missed your mommy!", she scolded him.

"Hey! You promised you wouldn't tell anyone!", Kaminari pointed his index at her, sad.

She crocked a brow, "Yeah, but you shouldn't be a hypocrite!"

Tsu finished her food and politely set down the chopsticks, "I miss my family too, ribbit."

Different people agreed with her.

"I miss my dad too!", Toru sighed, "We always played chess together and he always cheated, but I didn't care. He had so much fun winning!"

Ojiro rested an arm on the back of her chair, "My dad taught me martial art. I miss having him as a coach."

"I miss my mom dancing in the kitchen while preparing empanadas", Sero remembered those moments with a big smile on his lips.

Mina grinned, "I miss going shopping with my parents! They always chose the right outfit for me!"

Mineta played with the rest of the curry, "I miss my granny's food. She is such a great cooker."

"I miss running for the infinite hallways of our mansion, my mom and dad trying to catch me," Momo shed a happy tear at the memory, "they always pretended to be slower than me, so I could run for hours."
