"Here you go, darling."

"Thank you, Mama!" Wednesday bit into her lunch with no hesitation. Larissa sat down, sipping her herbal tea with lemon and honey.

"I'm gonna take a nap when you are done, so I'm gonna have Enid come over for the night okay?"

"Yay! 'Nid is coming!" Wednesday smiled widely, melty cheese dripping down her chin. "Wait, nap time?"

"You don't need to take one today if you don't want to, baby girl. You don't have school tomorrow."

Wednesday made a "Oh." before biting into her sandwich again.

Larissa pulled out her phone, texting Marilyn the situation and asking if her little could babysit today. She got a reply less than a minute later, a picture of Enid dressed in a pink onesie with obvious padding around her middle and a pink glittery pacifier in her mouth.

Sorry, this one woke up infant today. Any tips?

Weems smirked.

Breastfeed her, clearly.

She watched as Marilyn's little icon said typing for a minute, then stopped, before repeating a few times.

Larissa grinned, putting her phone away. "There goes nap time" she thought to herself, mentally preparing herself for a long day. The woman watched as her little picked up the glass of apple juice, raising it to her lips and spilling most of it down her shirt.

"Oh crap, I forgot the bottle." She muttered, grabbing some kitchen towel.

"It's okay! I clean." Wednesday puffed out her chest, sliding down from the chair and taking the paper towel roll from her caregiver. She pulled off about twelve pieces, pushing them to her front in a futile attempt at cleaning herself.

"Weds, stop you're making it worse. Here." Larissa bent down, using her long arms to keep some distance from her daughter. Cleaning up the little who pouted the whole time, she threw away the soaked napkins. "Alright, darling. Apparently Enid isn't coming over tonight. So no nap time for Mama."

"No 'Nid? Why?"

"She's like super little." Larissa showed the photo the teacher sent her. Wednesday smirked, before running off. "Oh dear. That was not a good expression."

There was a crash in the playroom, she rushed in only to roll her eyes at the goth girl. Wednesday dumped the lego bin to the floor, moving around the pieces until she found what she was looking for.

"What are you doing?"

"For 'Nid!" She held up a small hair clip with a pink flower on it. "I 'membered!"

"Very nice." She sat down on the saucer chair in the playroom, leaning back on it. "Do you wanna play?" Wednesday nodded excitedly before diving back into taking out the different size blocks she needed. "Okay. Mama is gonna rest her eyes. If you need me, call for me, don't come close."

The little hummed, ignoring anything else for the next few hours. Eventually though, she became bored of the various legos and toys she left scattered across the room, and she was hungry again. Glancing at her caregiver, she toddled over to her and climbed up into her lap, snuggling into her side.

"Wends- sweetie? What are you- hey, didn't I say not to come close?"

Larissa sighed, trying to pry Wednesday off of her. The little clung to her arm.

"I'm hungry!" Wednesday whined as she held onto Weems for dear life. She nuzzled her nose into the side of the woman's chest.

Succeeding in getting Wednesday off of her, Larissa dumped the little onto the sofa. She tried to ignore the girl's sad cries, digging around in one of the drawers.
