"Do you use lotions or oils
for your skin?"

"Yeah, I have different lotions
at home. I try to avoid stretch
marks as long as possible."

"And you're doing good with that.
Taking care of your skin on a daily
basis will also prevent dry skin
and rashes. The stretch can cause
your skin to itch and break too,
it can get quite uncomfortable
so keeping your skin moisturized
is definitely a good idea."

Dr Byeon gave Jisung a smile
as he squeezed some blue gel
on the transducer.

"This might be a little cold, I'm sorry."

The small blonde jumped slightly
at the sudden coldness and giggled
in embarrassment as his husband
intertwined their hands.

"Okay, so.. Here's a happy little baby.
There's the head, the spine and we
can see two arms and two little legs.
Oh! Seems like someone is awake."

Jisung could feel the fluttering
feeling again as he watched his
tiny kitten squirm on the monitor,
his heart-shaped smile
almost blinding.

"The baby's size is good and
they're obviously active as well
so I'd say you got a very healthy
little baby there. Would you like
to know the gender?
The little one is in a good
position today."

And Jisung didn't need to look
at his husband to know how the
older's feline eyes were sparkling
with pure excitement.

They had talked about it a few
nights ago and he knew that
Minho really wanted to know.

He so desperately wanted to know
if their little kitten was a boy or a girl.

"Yeah. We'd like to know."

Jisung gave his husband a warm
smile when the ravenette stared
at him in utter disbelief before
his whole face lit up.

"Alright then.
Sweet little one, please cooperate."

The atmosphere was so tense
from the extreme excitement as
Dr Byeon moved the transducer
over his patient's belly.

"Mr Han-Lee, Mr Han?
Are you ready?"

Both soon-to-be parents nodded,
Minho already biting his lips so
he could contain his excitement
and Jisung tugged quietly on
his husband's hand.

"You two are having a little boy,
congratulations."

Their tiny kitten was a little boy.

They were having a son.

"Oh my god.. Sungie.."

Unshed tears were glistening in
the older's eyes when he squeezed
his husband's hand tightly but
when he looked into Jisung's
beautiful honey eyes, he couldn't
stop the tears from falling.

The blonde was smiling just as
brightly as he placed his hand on the
upper side of his little baby bump.

Their son was still squirming
happily in his mommy's tummy,
maybe sensing his parent's
excitement or just having a
good time in there.

"And everything is completely
fine with the little boy, I'd like
to see you in four weeks.
Just make an appointment at
the reception like always.
And stay careful, I'm very glad
I haven't heard any rumors
or anything yet."

Dr Byeon handed Jisung a few
paper towels and the printed
sonograms to Minho before he
walked back to his desk to
note some information.

And while the doctor behaved
like normal because he probably
did this on a daily basis, Jisung
and Minho's world had just
completely changed.

Their kitten was a little prince.
