Chapter 15: Getting the Blade

Suigetsu leans forward so he's in the thugs face.

"See, you do know a lot. So, where does he live?"

"His place us to the south, deep inside the forest. Rumor had it that multiple hundreds of mercenaries guard the place. It's impenetrable."

Suigetsu stands up again.

"Alright, let's go right now!"

"Not yet, Suigetsu. It's getting late, we'll go tomorrow."

*Sigh* "Fine, you win, Sasuke."

(Sasuke's P.O.V)

I sneak into Tenzen's castle while the other two are sleeping. I go into Tenzen's bedroom and sit on the headboard. I pull out my katana and slowly put it right above his face. He wakes up and screams.

"W-who's there!? How did you get in here!?"

"The day after tomorrow, this castle will be attacked by tens of thousands of soldiers. Make sure you gather every available man."

I say then pull up my katana.

"And don't forget my name... Suigetsu."

I leave the castle and start heading back to the inn.

"So, Sasuke. What did you tell Tenzen?"

I look up and see Lily leaning on the door to our room.

"How did you know?"

"I have my ways. Now talk before Suigetsu wakes up."

"I just told him what I was telling you before."

"Oh, the whole 'army going to attack you' thing?"

Lily asks and I nod.

"Alright. Well, I'm tired so I'm gonna go back to sleep. Night, Sasuke."

Lily walks back into the room. I walk in as well and I get into my bed.

"Night."

I say then fall asleep.

(Lily's P.O.V)

"Awww man. What in world is going on now?"

Suigetsu asks, looking at all of the soldiers going towards Tenzen's castle.

"Apparently, a rival clan plans on attacking this castle tomorrow, with an army that numbers in the tens of thousands."

I tell him as Sasuke and I walk up to him.

"No way! Tell me you're just making this up, Lily?"

I shake my head.

"Alright, fine. The more confused the enemy is, the better my chances. Whether it's one opponent or tens of thousands, it doesn't matter to a ninja like me. I'll sneak in and steal the Executioners Blade from right under their noses!"

Sasuke walks closer to Suigetsu.

"How about making a little wager?"

Sasuke asks.

"A wager?"

"On who gets the Executioners Blade first."

Suigetsu smiles like an idiot.

"Never in a million years did I expect you to have a playful side, Sasuke! Alright, let's do it. Sounds like my kind of fun."

"Then we start now. But there's one rule. Don't kill anyone."
