"We forgot to say grace!" She clasped her hands and closed her eyes, Wednesday looking a little confused but copying her older friend. "Rub-a-dub-dub, thanks for the grub. Amen!"

Both of the littles opened their eyes, and Wednesday slowly lowered the gummy into her mouth by its tail. She giggled as Enid tossed the jellybean into the air, this time missing it completely as it clattered to the floor.

"Aww, shucks." Picking it back up, the blonde threw it in the air. The jellybean hit her in the eye, and she winced.

"Five second rule, 'Nid!" Wednesday picked it up and popped it into her mouth.

Enid shook her head, putting the dolls back on the toy chest. "Let's ask my mommy to put on a movie!" She was about to leave the room when she remembered the candy bag. "I gotta hide this first though."

Wednesday agreed, turning over the toy box, emptying it. "Put it in here, then we can put the toys on top."

"Good idea!" Enid walked over and put the candy in there, helping the goth put the toys and plushies back inside. Satisfied that they hid the stash, the pair walked out to find Marylin.

"Mommyyyyy!" The older little sang, skipping into the kitchen. "Can Willa and I watch a movie?"

"Sure, sweetie. Any preferences?"

"Umm, maybe Nightmare Before Christmas? Wednesday likes it."

"Of course." Marilyn said with a smile. "I'll be there in a couple of minutes."

She watched as the girls rushed back to the bedroom, grabbing two small plastic bowls from the kitchen cupboard. The redhead opened up the candy tin, picking out two lollipops, a piece of chocolate and some random sweets for the girls'.

"Okay, ready to watch a movie?" Thornhill grinned at the girls' reaction as she walked into the room with their candy bowls.

"Thanks, mommy! You're the best!" Enid leapt up from the bed, wrapping her caregiver in a bear hug. Crouching down next to the gothic little, Marilyn whispered in her ear, "You don't need to tell your mama, just don't over indulge okay?" Wednesday nodded, saying a quick thank you before sitting on Enid's bed. "I'll have dinner ready in a few hours, so hopefully you're still hungry."

"What's for dinner?" Enid asked as she unwrapped Wednesday's snicker.

"Pasta and butter sauce with garlic bread."

"Oh! Yummy!"

Wednesday's attention was already absorbed into the movie, mouthing the songs silently. Marylin left the room, keeping the door cracked.

"'Nid! 'Nid!" Wednesday shook her, "Look! The boogie man!"

"He's the bad guy though..." Enid bit into her candy, "Why are you so excited for him, why not Sally! She is so pretty!"

"'Cause he's the bad guy is why I like him."

In her candy bowl, Wednesday found a few gummy mice that she found particularly fun to play with. She'd hold it by the tail and let them dangle into her mouth before she bit their heads (or bodies) off, making Enid feel "a bit green".

Before the girls realized it, they'd both finished off all of their sweets, to which Enid pouted.

"Aww, that's a shame. A shame my mommy doesn't know about my secret stash..." Letting out a cackle, Enid picked up the empty toy box and retrieved the sweets. "Here ya go!"

She grabbed a handful of gummy bears, putting them in her pigtailed friend's bowl. Then she poured a few sweets straight into her bowl, making sure that the extra sugar from the bottom of the bag fell into her bowl for later consumption.
