Chapter 1: Wrong Way Home

"Ah!" Shulk yelled.

"Woah!" Rex shouted as Pyra screamed.

Noah looked up, gasped, and then turned away to avoid them. However, he was too late as Shulk and Rex crashed on him. Pyra landed next to them as she turned to see the three boys on the ground, groaning in pain and struggling to stand up.

"That wasn't supposed to happen" Shulk murmured in pain.

"I don't think so, no" Rex replied annoyed.

"Please get off of me" Noah groaned as he tried to push them off.

"Oh, sorry!" Shulk said as he rolled off.

"Allow me" Pyra offered as she picked up Rex and then placed him on the ground.

Noah sat up and rubbed the back of his head as he looked up at them. He was confused until his eyes fell on Shulk.

"How is this possible?" Noah whispered as Shulk and Pyra were checking themselves.

"Uh, sorry about that" Rex said concerned, "We really didn't mean to fall on you. We just took a wrong turn to get home. Are you ok?"

Noah looked at the younger boy and then at Shulk and Pyra.

"I'm fine" Noah answered slowly before standing up and walking up to Shulk with a curious expression, "But how are you here?"

"Excuse me?" Shulk asked as he raised his hands and let Noah examine him.

"You look like someone I know" Noah answered as he continued to stare.

"I am sorry, but I have never been here before" Shulk confessed, "In fact, our friend made a mistake. We will have to wait for him to get us back home"

Noah sighed. He supposed it was too much of a coincidence, but he was sure Shulk resembled the Kevesi soldier statue in the City.

"Ah, I am sorry, but I hope your friend comes and helps you" Noah said as he realized he was close to Colony Omega, "I have to meet someone"

"Oh, could we come along?" Rex asked warmly, "We have to wait for our friends, so it should be best if we wait somewhere safe, right?"

Noah couldn't argue with that logic. Shulk shook his head as he went to apologize to Noah about Rex's plead.

"No, that's a good idea. Come with me. I am going to Colony Omega" Noah said warmly as he pointed at a white tent like building in the distance.

They looked at it and nodded, but Rex and Pyra had a funny feeling about it. They quietly followed Noah and were soon standing outside the colony. Shulk was surprised to see troops taking breaks while Rex noticed the architecture was familiar.

"I've seen this before" Rex said as Pyra sighed at him.

"This does look like something Nia would enjoy and have" Pyra whispered to him.

Rex raised a brow at Pyra and asked confused, "Why are we whispering?"

He noticed Pyra was looking at Noah who was searching for someone. Shulk glanced around and noticed some of the machines were different but familiar. He walked back to Rex and Pyra.

"Something is familiar yet different about this" Shulk whispered to them, "I think we need to be prepared for anything. I don't think Sora realized what he did"

The two of them agreed as they stood by Shulk's side. As for Noah, he kept looking and looking for Mio until he felt someone wrapped their arms around his waist.

"I missed you" Mio whispered in her kind voice as she rested her head against his back.

Noah smiled as he placed his hands on hers.
