Part IX: Never Learn To Love Again

  • Dedicated to The one that threw me from the cliff

The wind’s rushing through my hair,

Blowing away my deepest despair,

And none can hear the ear-splitting tear

Of my heart breaking through the air.

Life threw me from a cliff so high,

I said nothing as I was shy,

It hurts that you never try

To comfort me when I cry.

Hiding in an empty hole,

I try to find my lost soul,

You were the one that lost control,

You made me everything but whole.

Perhaps I could call you a liar,

You were my one sole desire,

But you threw me in to the fire,

Sad songs of loss sang by my choir.

The sky is grey in the falling rain,

And I’m on the forbidden train,

Leading to a time of pain.

I’ll never learn to love again.
