My life is tough. And that's coming from my mouth when I'm no more than 5 years old, talk about pathetic.

It has been 3 months since I became a student of Futaba Kindergarten, and saying that my life there was a mess would be a massive understatement.

All the friends I made, are a bunch of weirdos. Masao is always crying and has a crush on a super-rich girl. Nene is fine, but she always tries to act like my big sister, not to mention her anger issues. Kazama is a closet Moe-P lover, and Bo-chan is Bo-chan.

They all have some strange qualities, but they are not too extreme. What troubles me the most is someone else.

Shinsuke Nohara. Shin-chan; The epitome of a troll character.

That dude is just unbearable. He is the most annoying person I have ever met, and I don't think that position is going to change any time soon.

Many incidents happened which led me to believe so, but it's better not to think about them anymore, for my mental state at least.

I still can't believe I'm starting to care about those weirdos.

"Yoshihiro-kun, where are you going?"

A small voice, which I'm sure I'd heard before, made me turn my head in the direction of a little girl who was wearing a hat and was giving me a happy smile.

Isn't she that girl from the Rose class? The one who asked me to play with her last month? It was weird, Masao was glaring at me at that time. Not to mention, the weird smooching gestures Shin-chan was sending my way. But he always does that, so it didn't surprise me all that much.

"... I was just going to buy groceries for my mother. She asked me to do it for her, you see?" I smiled, despite not wanting to longer this conversation.

The girl, whose name I somehow forgot(Did I even ask for it?) widened her eyes, admiration visible in them.

"Wow. You're going out to buy groceries all alone? That's so amazing and mature!"

No, it's not. Stop making a big deal out of this. I didn't even want to do it, my mother forced me into this.

"Haha, I don't think so. The grocery store is very near to my house. So it's not something to be proud of."

The girl nodded, a little shade of red tinting her cheeks.

Yeah, no.

"Yoshihiro-kun, do you-"

"Woah, man! Look at the time! I think I'm going to be late if I don't hurry! I'll see you later then."

I smiled, which didn't match my eyes. I completely understand what she is feeling right now, and I feel uncomfortable because of that.

She is a kid. She should get over all these dramatic feelings she might be getting right now. I don't want to give her any mis-signals that might lead to the FBI knocking at my door in the future.

For God's sake, we are not even ten yet!

"Oh."

The little girl looked a little dejected at that, making me feel like a dick but it's for the greater good. Not wanting to escalate this situation any further, I decided to take my leave. Just as I was about to leave, the girl grabbed my shirt from behind.

Leave me alone, girl. I don't want to be labeled a lolicon.

"Wait!" The girl exclaimed, making me wince at her loud voice. "I, I want you to call me by my name! Just like I call you Yoshihiro-kun!"
