No, Steve, I do not want to link. You don't even have a profile picture. Like who are you??
I rub my hands along my face, scrubbing my eyes clean until I can finally forget about these people.

Club opening in downtown Detroit!
I sigh, bored by every single 'new' thing there is. None of it is new, its all repeated things stolen from one another in hopes to get clicks.
I guess I can't stay inside too long.
It's late at night, and I roam the streets of Detroit. I had recently gotten my paycheck, so I figured I would just spend it now. Not all of it, obviously, just.. most.
I am a very impulsive shopper.
I have my hands in my pockets, earbuds in. I feel my hair get drizzled with a small sprinkle of rain. Rain NEVER ends here, so wet hair has just become a normal for me.
I walk into a forever 21, hoping to find stuff to fit the amazing big-shirt-little-pants-combo. Whoever came up with that is, indeed, a genius. The bright white walls and beautiful, blonde, tall girls catch me off guard. I forgot how.. basic this place can be. A girl at the front waves to me, "Hello, ma'am!" I purse my lips, trying my best to wave back. I can't tell weither to be annoyed.. or just be kind back. Her hair is a dark color, long, only curling at the bottom as the hair ombre's to a light brown. Her skin is medium toned, shining in the lights. Full lips, deepest siren eyes. Freckles.
Immediately self conscious.
"How can I help you today?" She takes a few steps towards me, wanting to make conversation. Her smile is wide, flashy white teeth showing. "U-uhm.. I just got my paycheck so I was just looking for a few new outfit... stuff." She claps her hands together, "Great! Anything particular in mind?" I smile at her, trying my best to not show my insecurity. "Maybe some shorts.. leggings... cargo pants?? Hoodies? I am not really sure... ha..."
"Okay, well come find me if you need help!" She waves goodbye, going to talk to her friend beside her. I only hear small whispers, "God, did you see how bad her under eye bags were?" "Yeah, her hair is messy too.. she needs to flat iron it or perfect the curls more." "I know! Her arms were so lanky too... she looks clinically underweight." "Disgusting. Like a skeleton. No guy is gonna want that."
I squint my eyes, pushing myself forward. I ignore them, trying to move on and just find my shit and leave.
I scroll through the racks, finding a cute light grey hoodie with the words "Good things are coming" Printed along the back with flowers trailing the bottom. I pick it up, finding my size. I put it up to my body, and it thins down at the bottom so it will naturally ride up or curve to my body. The sleeves remain baggy, along with the top of the shirt. Liking the style, I decide to keep it. A few shirts over, I see something else I like. A knit sweater.
I find a few other things in that area, like a sweater vest and a loose button up. I head over to the pants section, not really prepared. I know half of the selection is just gonna be booty shorts.
I find some leggings and shorts, and I decide to look through the clearance section. I find white jeans with mint patches, brown jeans with white butterflies trailing along the sides, plain black ripped jeans, maroon red corduroy pants, a blue plaid skirt and crop top set, and a few shirts. Surprisingly, almost everything I grabbed was about 5 bucks. I head to the jewelry section, grabbing MANY rings and necklaces, stacked bracelets, earrings, hair bands, pretty much everything you can imagine.
