Blue Jay:
" This common, large songbird is familiar to many people, with its perky crest; blue, white, and black plumage; and noisy calls. Blue Jays are known for their intelligence and complex social systems with tight family bonds. "

Tommy couldn't have predicted any of this, not the TNT in his walls, or the net dangling him from his ceiling, nor the arrow in his head.
Wait, what?
A thud echoed through the house as he stopped his struggling and the net gave out under the sudden shift of weight, leaving a ringing in his skull as his mind tries to replay what event led to him getting shot with an arrow.
He feels a throbbing pain, he could almost imagine he just had a bad headache if it wasn't for the blood dripping down his face or that horrid feeling of the arrow under his skin; like when he was little and would have to get a shot, or back in the days of fighting for L'manburg's independence when he would get hit with rubble or falling debris and it would get in his already bleeding wounds.
As the corners of his vision begin to darken and blur he can still hear faint fighting outside his house and around the corners of rooms, the sounds of swords clashing and axes hitting wooden shields is one he'll never forget.
He tries to scream for help, knowing no one would come even if he did, but he fails as his energy fades and he can't find the strength to do much more than whisper a small plea to the gods.
The familiar ache in the bones of his wings turning into his arms are only seemingly there for a moment before it mixes in with the pain of everything else and is lost.
The mix of burning, stabbing, and throbbing pains slows to a dull ache as it gets harder for him to breathe and keep his eyes open.
'They'll be here soon.'
He closes his eyes to save what little energy he has left to keep breathing, but he's tired.
He's so tired.

A figure steps into a blurry view, covered in black a cloak and carrying a heavy-looking scythe with chains wrapped around it, some falling to the ground as they walk.
"It's not your time, little prince." The figure speaks in a rough, deep and broken voice, as though they hadn't spoken in a long time.
They tighten their grip on the scythe, before lifting it above their head and quickly swinging down.

The first thing Tommy can register is the dulled throbbing pain in his skull, no doubt a headache that will only get worse, but the second thing is a horrid beeping sound, repeating over and over again.
It comes from one of his sides, a monotone and mechanical beeping comparable to a heart monitor, or at least what he assumes one would sound like.
It makes his feathers ruffle as he scrunches his face in disgust at the sound and tries to open his eyes to see what bitch had decided it was a good idea to put that as an alarm.
When he opens them, however, his dull-blue eyes do not catch sight of one of his friends snickering at his bedside, amused by his discomfort and their success in pranking him, but rather a very clean hospital room.
The sound actually being a heart monitor was the last thing he expected, but when he looks to his left he comes face to face with the culprit of the noise.
How did he possibly get here? There is no hospital in the Dream SMP, but there's no way he could've gotten out of the server. He's tried that before.
So where was he?
Not anywhere he knew, that's for sure.
Movement in the corner of his eye makes him jump up into a sitting position, ignoring the way his body protests every breath he takes, ready to protect himself from the potential attacker.
Instead of seeing some familiar face, deemed friendly or not, he sees a new man; probably shorter than himself, with fancy, yet casual, and modern looking clothes, a yellow visor covering his eyes, and red wings sprouting from his back.
They don't look like any type of parrot's wings that Tommy's seen before, maybe a cardinal like him? Or a summer tanager?
Before Tommy can begin to go further into the list of red birds he knows of, the strange man speaks.
"Sorry, 'didn't mean to scare you, kid." He apologises.
Tommy ignores the completely incorrect nickname, he's not a kid, and narrows his eyes at him as his feathers ruffle instinctively and he thinks of what to say,
"Where am I?" he decides to demand, if he's been kidnapped he'd like to know, after all.
Now, Tommy doesn't remember much from when he was a kid, but he certainly doesn't remember doctors looking anything like that.
"Well currently you're in Fujiya Hospital," the stranger answers, "since you seem to be doing better, 'mind answering a few questions?" he asks Tommy.
Tommy stays silent for a few moments, trying to figure out if it was worth it to risk having to give away information on himself, or worse; on others.
He finally decides to just glare at the man in hopes he would take a hint and leave, but it seems to have the opposite effect.
"I'll take that as a yes!" the man says in a friendly tone, clasping his hands together before continuing, "Don't worry, it's nothing too bad. Now, what's your name?" He finally asks.
Tommy stays silent for a few moments, keeping his intimidating gaze locked on the stranger, but when it still doesn't work he decides it would be best to just answer the questions; but keep his answers vague. Yeah.
"Tommy." He says flatly, still glaring at the man.
"Tommy...?" The stranger drags it out, no doubt looking for a last name.
Tommy stays silent.
The stranger simply sighs, realizing it won't be all that easy to get answers out of him.
"Alright, we'll work on that." He says, looking down and writing something on a clipboard Tommy didn't realize he had before continuing the interrogation, "Next question, Where are you from?" He looks up from his clipboard, pen hovering over it.
A flash of sorrow crosses Tommy's face as he nearly instinctively responds with 'L'manburg', but he quickly replaces it with his previous glare and ignores the slight look of confusion and concern that the man gives him.
"The Dream SMP." He answers blankly, once again.
The stranger gives him a confused look,
"'Mind elaborating a bit on that one?"
Tommy continues to stare at the man, showing he will not.
"Right. Then, third question! What's your quirk?" the guy asks, much to Tommy's confusion.
"My.. what?" is Tommy's response, his confusion evident on his face.
"Your quirk?" The stranger repeats, seeming to think Tommy had simply not heard him.
Tommy stays silent and continues to stare at him in confusion, leaning a bit closer, maybe he had misheard him?
They sit in silence for a few moments before the man finally breaks it with another sigh, writing something down again on his clipboard before speaking.
"Well then, would you mind telling me what happened?" The stranger asks, looking up from his clipboard and directly at Tommy with a bit of concern on his face.
"Would you mind telling me your name?" Tommy jokes in an angry tone, in hopes the stranger would be stupid enough, or smart enough, to answer him.
And, to his credit, the elytrian was going to answer him.
But then someone new walks in.

" The Blue Jay frequently mimics the calls of hawks, especially the Red-shouldered Hawk. These calls may provide information to other jays that a hawk is around, or may be used to deceive other species into believing a hawk is present. "
