I am a living being. Breathing. I should be treated as so, not as some girl you can grab whenever you want and use to your liking. I'm not a model, a set of boobs just to appeal men. To serve them.

And in that moment, I know exactly how the Deviant from the last case felt.

a few days later~

I open my eyes to see a beautiful, bright, green scenery surrounding me.

I take a step forward, feeling the warm wind brush against my face. "Hello."

I turn, quickly facing the noise.
Amanda sits on a bench, her hand patting a spot which I assume is for me.

I take my seat, "Hello Amanda."

"How do you feel?"

I think for a moment. "Good, the investigation is running along quite smooth." Amanda only seems to smirk, "If that's what you consider smooth, then sure." Before I even get the chance to question, she continues on. "How do you feel about Anderson?"

I take a deep breath. "Good. He's a swell detective, and his mood swings are a little abrupt for me. But that's what my job is, to adapt to other humans. So I will get used to him."

She only looks off in the distance. "And Fowler?"

I nod, "The same applies to him. He is not what I expected, but he is manageable."

By the time I look up to face her, she is looking directly at me. Startled a little, I jump back.

"You seem to be in a rush, Amanda. Are you alright?"

She only stares at me. "Look Connor, this investigation needs to move along faster. More and more deviant cases gather every day." She sighs, "Alright, how do you feel about y/n?"

Easy. "She is kind, more easy to handle then the other two. She is a lot, but the same goes for her. I will adapt and work with them all to the best of my abilities." I try to send her a small smile, but I only get a sad look back.

"So would you care to explain why you keep interrogating her about her personal problems? That's not apart of the job description. You are not a therapist, you are a detective android."

"I do so to make sure she is alright." When I don't get an answer back, I continue. "If she is not okay, then she will not provide the aid I need for the investigation."

Amanda finally smirks, proud of my answer. "Alright, but you need to get the progress to happen faster." I nod again, trying to end the conversation as quick as possible. Her demeanor seems to relax, less rushed.

I turn my head, looking out into the scene in front  of me. Pink flowers contrast the green, the leaves swinging in the wind. Almost like water, fish swimming and pushing through the currents.

A sense of serenity settles within me. Of course, that is before I hear more words come from next to me. "So.. Are there any new details on the list?"

I think for a moment, not taking my eyes off of the nature around me. "Yes, I suppose. I've noticed a certain.. behavior within these deviants. They seem to do more then just break out of their programming, they almost have a reason to every time. They have deep emotions, connecting to other humans as well. There seems to be more then just.. broken programming."

I feel her eyes studying me. "Yes, Indeed Connor."

I take another deep breath before turning back to Amanda. She asks me, "Do you find yourself feeling these emotions?"
