"When you pointed out my ears and my disability, It made me curious about humans, like me not being able to have magic me having smaller ears." You say.
"You dont have magic, you have odd ears. What if we're similar?" You say.
"Woah. I hope im not making you question your species or anything." Luz laughs awkwardly.
"Terra adopted me, she said my birth parents are dead. So I have no idea where I came from." You say.
"After you told me that, ive been starting to question myself so much more." You say.
"Do you mind if I look at your ears?" Luz asks.
"No yeah, go ahead." You say, tucking your hair behind your ears.
"I didn't say anything earlier but... your ears don't look naturally small, they look like they were forced to be small." Luz says.
"Have you ever looked at your ears in more detail in the mirror?" Luz asks.
"No. Because it's embarassing" You say.
"It's okay. But can I comment on some things?" Luz asks.
"Go ahead." You say.
"You have scars on your ears, like nasty ones." She says.
"In my opinion, these look like stitch scars." Luz says.
"Really?" You say.
"Yeah." Luz nods.
You stay silent. Luz turns over to look at you. She has a concerned look on her face.
"Y/n... you okay?" Luz asks.
Your mind goes spiraling. Are you a witch? Or are you human? Is this disability thing a hoax?
"Y/n!" Luz says shaking you.
"Huh?" You say snapping out of it.
"Hey, you okay?" She asks.
"How can we figure out what I am?" You ask.
"Uh..." Luz says rubbing her chin.
"You said it's because your bile sack is blocked off right?" Luz asks.
You nod.
"Well humans don't have bile sacks period, so if we perhaps... get an X Ray." Luz says.
"An x-ray yes, so if I don't have a bile sack, then..."
"Then that must mean your human." Luz says.
"How do we get to an x Ray?" You say.
"I don't know where one is nearby. I've never gone to a witch doctor." Luz says.
"No if I really am a human, I don't want anyone finding out. I may become a fugitive." You say.
"Are you proposing a break in?" Luz grins.
You laugh.
"Might as well." You smile.
"Alright. Well. If we're gonna do a break in we need Edas help." Luz says.
"Did someone say a break in?" Eda tilts her head around the corner.
"Yeah!" Luz grins.
You blush.
"Oh you're that kid who bought some human trinkets from me." Eda grins.
"A true customer! How do you like the thermostat? And the... car?" Eda grins.
"Uh, the thermostat is great, the car, I don't remember what that is." You shrug.
"Anyway, we were hoping you can help us with a break in!" Luz grins.
