Chapter 3 : The Before Part II

The night before

Warren stood up from his bed not that he got much sleep. No one in the Angers family ever slept. Maybe it was because his family ran the number one leading company in technology. Or maybe it was because he was the youngest person to evolutionize technology by creating a cloud that acted as a sun. Warren called it The Cloud because it was a simple name but everyone just referred to it as the sun. Connor walked into his room.

"Cmon get up and get ready, it starts in 30 minutes." Connor rubbed his head where James kicked him.

"What happened to your head, theres a big bump on it. Did you get punched by Jessica."

"Haha that's so funny" he replied sarcasticly " James landed on me when we jumped from the cave in the Earth Simulator"

Warren walked across the room and pushed Connor out of his way in a kidding manner.

"Why are you a doctor? I mean you have the greatest mind on this ship and you put your time to fixing cuts and bruises. I know you work with Ian when he needs you but danm you should be inventing a complete armada or something."

" When you grow up you will understand. Just because I'm more mature and braver and more handsome..."

Connor laughed at that and went to punch him in the shoulder but stopped mid air because all he wanted was to make Warren flinch. He did.

Warren put on his lab coat and looked through his pockets to make sure everything was there and pulled out a small silver metallic sphere.

"Whats that?" asked Connor.

" I don't know. Probably something from the guys downstairs. You know they are always screwing with me." replied Warren.

He put the small sphere on his bed side table and left with Connor. They met up with James on their way to the ball room where they found Jayden being escorted by two armed guards.

They kept walking while Jayden stared at them while they walked past.

"That guy never learns does he?" said James.

"No not really. He's always getting in some kind of trouble. Oh well." said Connor.

They walked in silence down the hall where they met up with three girls. Connor took one by the hand and spun her around.

"Wow Jess you look amazing."

"Thanks honey." replied Jess

James took his girl Elizabeth by the waist and did some weird dance they made up.

"Weirdo" retorted Warren.

Warren was the only one not married. He met the third girl ,Carly, a few weeks backs when Jessica introduced them to each other. They hung out quite a bit but they still didn't know where their relationship was going but they both liked each other so they just considered themselves as together.

" Why do you where that lab coat. Its a dance not a convention silly" Carly said as she kissed him on the cheek.

"Good to see you too and I know its a dance but i have a surprise" Warren said with a grin.

They all walked down the hall together sharing small talk.

"What happened to your head honey" asked Jessica

"I'm fine I'll tell you about it after." replied Connor

They handed their tickets to the ticket clerk.

"Thank you and enjoy" said the ticket clerk.

They all walked in and walked back out 3 hours later.
