Chapter 3: The reunion

An hour later, like Wangji said, a reunion was taking place at the Mo's, Mo Xuanyu told Lan Zhan he would come to this reunion, he did. That made the second jade happier in the inside, even if his face stays as hard as rock on the outside, his brother, Lan Xichen, who had learn wangji's face language, knew that and was quite surprised by it. When Mo Xuanyu arrived all eyes where on him, his aunt, his cousin, and all the peoples assisting the reunion where looking at him with disgust and anger, and everyone stepping away from him letting the boy in the middle all alone. The Lan's not amused by this at all, started the reunion to prevent the young man to feel harassed. They started by talking about their future alliance between Mo Ziyuan and a female cultivator from the Lan's, Mo Ziyuan's mother wanted Ziyuan to marry that women, she was the only blonde of the Lan's, wich interested the other clans, she was blonde because of her mother's genes, her mother is american with short blonde hair, the young girl had beautiful hazel eyes and a fine and pointy mouth, she had long blonde hairs. She was an old concubine in an inn near the lotus port. The lan's didn't approve this union and objected madam Mo's request. Lan wangji who had a cup in his hands disposed the object on the table with the hanse of the cup facing the young man, wich showed Xichen that his brother was about to speak, it was the attitude he Held in every reunion between another clan and his. Lan Xichen, being the leader of the lan sect since the death of his uncle Lan Qiren, was the only one able to cut and create a conversation without asking permission. Xichen was very attached to his brother's words to always be accepted, recognising his inability to express his thoughts well, wich reduced him to remain silent.
The sect leader stopped the conversation saying this:
"-May we please have your attention, Madam Mo, Master Mo, dear juniors.
My brother, Lan Wangji will now add his word on this conversation, the juniors and you, Madam and Master Mo will place a judgement on his choice, if it is reasonnable than the sentence Wangji will place will be made. Now if Lan Wangji would express his thoughts. "
Mo Xuanyu covered in a lot of white powder trying to cover his scars was silently observing the discussion staying focused on Lan Zhan, wich quite shocked the peasant because he was lunatic, that made him unable to stay silent more than 5 minutes. Lan Wangji then oppened his mouth very slowly and then started speaking with a timide, yet imposing voice :
"-Me, Lan wangji, the second lan sect leader, I personnaly object this union between Mo Ziyuan and our american cultivator, but an other form of union can be promoted, is this atleast a bit interestion for you Madam Mo, for me to explain simply the act to be done?
Madam Mo looked in his Husband's eyes, who were telling her to say yes, in fact if the proposition wasn't to the Mo's liking they would just have to refuse politely so Madam Mo moved her head from up to down in a sign of aprobation.
-great, then I might explain my thoughts to you.
Well, judging by you nephew's spiritual powers, really imposant for his young age, I am proposing to be seen as a tutor to your nephew Mo Xuanyu to help him recover from his illness and to help him cultivate his spiritual powers in Gusu Lan. "
No one could place a word because of what they just witnessed and heard, the most concerned and the angriest of all was obviously Mo Ziyuan, thinking about how the boy "took" his opportunity to become a strong cultivator irritated the boy more then anything. So in his anger he grabs a chair and Mo Ziyuan throws the object right in Mo Xuanyu's face, th boy hiding behind a junior and secretly stopping the chair with his spiritual powers. Madam Mo disappointed of Ziyuan's attitude tells him to sit and calm down she then starts talking:
-I am accepting your union, dear second Jade. She says bowing in a sign of respect to Lan Zhan and his sect, next the juniors and Lan Xichen approved his idea.
-Great now if Mo Xuanyu would follow me please? As Wangji says that Mo Xuanyu instantly follows Lan Zhan staying silent in respect for his elder who has been nice to him. The two of them going in a cleaned room where Lan Zhan was supposed to sleep due to a spirit extermination and due to the reunion...
