(Dan-Elius Qelgar's POV.)
No need for consistency here, but you can play this song while reading. This song was released in 2022. This is the song he is listening to: Call of the Stars - Paul Hausmann - YouTube. Provided to YouTube by DistroKid.
I wake up to the sound of a piano slowly increasing, a song indicating the serenity of the stars and their vast empty void that gets adorned by their faint glow in the cosmic plane. Calling a silent song that lights the void of space, with their rays singing in a silent tune until they fade once more revealing the morning light of the sun.
I moved my hand to the side of the bed, searching for a button, until I managed to find it and press it. The liquid surrounding me slowly gets drained back into its container to be recycled and cleaned for future use. When the liquid finally gets drained enough to feel it sticking in my eyelids, I move my hand to try to remove as much as I can from my face.
My mood feels... distinct today. A sense of mystery is flowing around, almost as if today is going to be different from what I was used to. My life is indeed changing again, I found new friends, and they seem nice... Well... that was until a bit of a fight happened while eating lunch. Still, it is pleasant to be making friends again.
The last time I had a friend, she... I decided not to recall that memory. I managed to remove as much of the liquid from my face as I could.
Dan-Elius: Those memories will come and go... I can't run from my past, nor can I forget it. A vicious cycle that might just follow me until the very end.
Memories when we were together, memories when you got separated from him, memories when you were at your lowest, memories of the wind taking you away. If I could wish upon a star to see you again one last time. To tell both of you how much you meant to me, I would do it.
I prepare the shower and wait until it is hot enough to feel the fatigue and the capsule liquid leave my body to the drain.
Dan-Elius: It seems... Today, I feel... melancholic. It has been a while... hasn't it?
A garden where the souls get cleansed, making my damaging sentiments leave my body. Making me feel complete, removing the daggers that dig through my chest. Now left in a place I can't see any longer. But then I get reminded that memories aren't my destiny. They are merely what makes me be myself.
I stand there for a while, deep in thought.
Dan-Elius: Did I become a poet or something?
It was mysterious, but...
Dan-Elius: I think it is time to take a bit of time for myself.
I exit the shower and dry myself, put on some clothes and exit the bathroom. I press a button, this time it is located on the end of the capsule, pointing towards the room. It saves what was left, to go back inside to the floors and walls. The bed comes up, and I grab my guitar, an acoustic guitar. One that wasn't mine or, well... it was?
The difference is that mine was made of clear wood, this one is a bit darker. A Washburn guitar, it reminded me of my own, even though that one is long gone. It reminds me of my old life, my home.
Dan-Elius: Let's see...
I unplug my phone from its charger, and search for a song. In this case, only the voice part of it. Once I find it, I pause my alarm clock.
