You're tired and it's been so long
Since you've had sleep
There's always something reminding
You feel as if you don't have a home
You feel as if they're not letting you go
Don't let it show
Keep it inside
The strings of your guitar are now broken
The world carries on like nothing happened
Your skin is glowing
And you're growing
But it's hard
Sometimes you don't want to go back home
Sometimes you just don't want to let go
Sometimes you think
They'll be better without you
So you leave
You're leaving me
Because they're gone
You're crying out your eyes
And they're gone
The sun will not rise
And it may seem hard
But don't forget
We're your family
We'll be your family
We'll always be your family
