Daffodils represent new beginnings, in a way he's saying he accepts your apology. He must have found out the meaning of the purple hyacinth.

"Thank you." You say.

"Yeah." He nods.

"So... are you ready to like..." you say awkwardly.

"Talk about it. Yeah." He nods.

"Okay, um. Come in." You say.

He enters your room and you close the door behind him. You turn your head back to him and he stands there, looking around the room.

"You can sit you know." You say.

"Right." He says.

He awkwardly sits on your bed, still avoiding eye contact. He's fidgeting his hands, and bouncing his leg up and down on the ground like how you see kids do in class.

He's probably nervous.

"Do you wanna go or should I go?" You ask.

"Um.." he says shakily.

"I'm sorry. I... I dont really get why i attempted that, it was... maybe I was sick." He says.

"I don't think I was thinking right." He says again.

"Why do you think that?" You say.

"Because why would I do that?" He says.

"It's..unlike me?" He says.

"If it's unlike you... then what was all that that was going on when grom took over you?" You ask.

"I could hear you, I heard everything you were saying." You say.

"Fuck really?" Hunter says.

"Yeah." You say.

"You were saying something how I'm the only one you trust?" You say.

He burried his face in his hands and groans.

"When I told you what I was afraid of, and you for once didn't judge me I felt appreciated, I thought you were finally going to just forget all the dumb stuff and drama we had in the past because usually you aren't like that, where I tell you things and you don't make fun of me." He says.

"So it gave me hope. You know how I say I'm jealous you have your freedom? Because you have friends, and a life outside of here?" Hunter says.

You nod.

"When you were accepting of me telling you something that troubles me, I had hope that, hey maybe I can repair things with you? Maybe I can have something else to look at rather than my duties, and the throne." Hunter says.

"I thought maybe I could have something else to care about rather than my duties. And it's a stupid idea I know I'm sorry." Hunter says.

"I'll... get over it, I promise. I know that's not what you want, and so it's just a stupid temporary thing I had in my head." Hunter sighs.

"It's just it made me feel like you cared and I took it too seriously that I started caring about you more, to the point I got scared of loosing the only person outside of my duties I talk to." Hunter says.

"So that's why it became my fear." He explains.

"I'm sorry. This, will go away, I swear to you." He says softly.

You look down.

"You don't have to apologize it's understandable." You say.

"I didn't know how much it meant to you." You say.
