A Storm Cloud Brewing Over Albion

Keep in mind, this is one of my many first attempts at writing and completing a crossover fanfiction, so no burns, please. Constructive criticisms only.

I don't own Princess Principal, Moriarty the Patriot, the Sherlock Holmes original stories, or any other adaptations of Sherlock Holmes. I don't own any of its characters, or the image I used as the cover above. The only thing I own is the idea behind this crossover fanfiction.

Before they knew it, the curtain of night had fallen over Albion.

The brightly lit concert hall was quickly packed for the night, filled with people looking forward to the performance of the greatest young pianist in Albion.

As ordered, Dorothy and Chise entered the hall as visitors, while Beatrice and Ange stood watch on a nearby rooftop. Both of them were in their spy outfits.

"They're in," Beatrice observed Dorothy and Chise entering the building through the South gate.

"Good. There's the Duke of Normandy coming." Ange said, spotting a convoy of three vehicles stopping right in front of the West gate, which was the entrance to the royal box. The two of them moved to get a better view.

The Duke of Normandy came out of the third vehicle in the group. Surprisingly, he wasn't accompanied by his most trusted subordinate, Gazelle Flint.

Then, they saw Prince Edward, the first in line to the throne, coming out of the second vehicle. His valet helped the prince out of the car.

"Did you know that he'll be here, Ange?"

"No. We'll focus on our targets. I'll follow the duke." Ange pulled out the C-Ball from her pocket. "Stay up here, Beatrice. Once you have an eye on Moriarty, follow him."

"Alright," Beatrice responded. "You can count on me."

"Good," Ange replied as she activated the mechanism of the C-Ball with a flick of a thumb.

Ange flew down, using her C-Ball to get closer to the Duke of Normandy, leaving Beatrice on the rooftop.

She immediately used the grappling hook she had on hand to position herself overlooking the East gate, remembering Moriarty's words that his seat was on one of the upper boxes on the East section of the hall.

After a few minutes, Beatrice saw a car with a closed top carrying William James Moriarty arriving at the East gate. From the windshield, she could see that it was driven by Louis James Moriarty.

Aside from the two Moriarty siblings, she also saw two individuals she didn't recognize. A younger man in a blue scarf opened the door for the two brothers to disembark the vehicle. Then, an elderly man in a ponytail followed the two brothers out of the car.

A valet then drove the car away from the gate.

Beatrice immediately followed the group of four, climbing down the rooftop and blending into the crowd surrounding the gate.

The corridors around the hall were packed, so there were easy hiding spots for her to tail him among the crowd.

Despite wearing a black penguin suit, which allowed him to blend in the sea of tuxedo and dress-wearing guests, Moriarty's physical features still stick out in the crowd, with his blonde hair slicked back. It allowed Beatrice to follow him through the crowd.

Like her training with Ange, it was hard at first, but eventually, she made good use of her observational skills to look for the nearest hiding spots she could find. Blending in the crowd, crouching behind an object. Making good use of any hiding spots available to her.
