An Unlikely Friendship

~Introduction!~

This is a borrower story about My Fursona Dj/Deej and Jacksepticeye's ego Chase Brody mainly. Yes the other egos and Sean himself will either have some appearances, interactions, or mere mentions! I'll decide as the story goes on.

Chase has his own apartment. All the other egos do as well, Though in my headcanons, Marvin and Jackie boy live together. Henrik and Jameson (JJ) also live together. Though JJ loves to visit chase as much as he can. The other egos are usually busy with their own lives, JJ is usually the one with the most "free time". He loves to visit Chase and bake or just check in on him. The other's do from time to time as well.

Chase usually is alone though. He films for his youtube channel, plays games, and lounges around in his free time. Though he likes to drive around and take frequent visits to the memorial in the forest for his wife and kid.

For reference! Chase lives around 10-15 minutes away from the memorial!

As for Dj the borrower of the story, He lives a couple trees away from Chase's family memorial. Most of his time is spent of course borrowing, exploring, and usually observing.. The timing of the story starts at the end of fall. He made his home at the base of a hollow tree. It is a few levels but it's really just the essentials. Most things he finds is native to the nature surrounding him.

As for things like his bed, clothing, self defense, and even "tv" entertainment, are items he finds along the trail or in the neighboring few houses and small shops around (tourist attraction and gas station is nearby).

Yes Dj is not a typical "borrower" species. I just chose to have my fursona as the borrower, as I also don't have a borrower specific OC

Yes, I am aware that DJ is very brightly colored. But he covers up and blends in with his environment when need be. Though, with him living in the forest next to a trail that not many people are around, He only covers up when absolutely necessary.

This story is not canon (obviously) and does not hinder or involve much of what Sean's actual egoverse is doing. This is just an AU. What the egos do in this story is based on my own headcanons :>

The Ego's appearances can be seen as really any appearance you please, The way I will be writing them is with what's canon (with some other ideas from the communities' designs)

As this writing is published, I have written parts of chapter 1! I do apologize for the wait, I'm a pretty slow writer and I have a job and other things that take up my free time. I find myself writing the most on weekends <3
