She drew until 10 a.m., took an hour-long nap, woke up, and called Happy to order food since she was too lazy to cook.
"Roxy call Happy." Nancy commanded her A.I. as she walked out of her room to get some water. The holographic screen popped up with Happy's caller ID. He picked up and asked, "What's up kiddo? How's your 1st day at 'Home'? How can I help you?"
She chuckled at Happy's question, "Hey Happy! It's been fine so far. Thank you for asking. I was wondering if you could order me Cheeseburger and Chips? Along with all flavours of fruit beer? I'm hungry."
Happy couldn't believe his ears, "O-order? Y-you're asking me to order food?"
"Uhh, yes. I believe so. Is there anything wrong? I'm feeling lazy. I don't feel like cooking right now and it's just me." she replied.
"Oh, okay. I'll get your order. Cheeseburger and Fries along with all flavours of fruit beer. Got it. I'll get one of the guards to bring it to you. Through the back way obviously." he said, still surprised that Nancy was ordering food. Especially since she loves to cook for herself.
"Yes! Thank you so much, Happy."
"Of course, kid. Anything for you. Let me know if you want anything else."
"Sure. Bye."
Nancy ended the call and went to check on the father to still see him sleeping. She decided not to disturb him and waited in the living room for about 15 minutes before the food arrived. She thanked the guard, took her lunch, and went to her bedroom to eat. She watched Young Sheldon while eating. At this moment she was satisfied that she didn't have to follow any rules even while eating. Granted, she did feel a little bit lonely having no one to sit and eat with and talk to. But she consoled herself by saying that this condition won't last long. Tony had promised to introduce her to the Avengers. Even if Tony stalled their meeting, which Nancy knew he would, she had a plan. This plan of hers had a 100% possibility of pissing off her dad and getting herself grounded. But for her, anything was better than being alone.
Nancy was playing her guitar to keep herself occupied when she heard a notification from her phone, it was her friend, Oliver Reyes. Her face lightened up on seeing her phone that she kept her guitar down in mid-song and picked up her phone to text her friend.
