Nancy was doing the dishes when Tony spoke up, "By the way, Nancy you'll be starting school on Monday in the Midtown Technical High School in Queens. It's a good school. You'll like it."
"Wait! What? Why Queens? And It's Wednesday, today. But dad-"
"Uh-uh, no buts, you're going, and I wasn't asking, just informing. I'm sending you all the way to Queens because I personally know that your safety is guaranteed there. I know the distance is inconvenient, that's why you'll wake up early and be driven to school and be picked up by Happy everyday. Use these 4 days to adjust." he said in a stern voice and continued, "All your school supplies are set. I've informed Fury about your arrival and he said he'll have an agent around to make sure that you are safe. From a long distance, obviously. And you'll be using the same alias and backstory. Everything will be how it was before, just a change in scenery."
Nancy hated how things used to be. She wanted to start over as herself, not someone else. She wanted the world to know about Nancy Stark. She didn't want to be hidden but she had to for her own safety. She was 100% sure she didn't want to be kidnapped by Hydra and tortured (experimented on) again. "No." she said, "I don't want things to be the way it was before. I'm not gonna follow your rules until you accept my conditions." she continued with resolution in her voice.

"Alright kid, shoot." he shrugged knowing that it was impossible to win an argument with her, she was stubborn, just like her mother. He smiled internally feeling nostalgic.
"No. 1, I'm not going under the name Nelsey. No more Nelsey Scott. No. 2--"
"Request denied." he said interrupting her. While Tony and Nancy were talking, Pepper snuck out of the conversation to get ready to leave for work. When Nancy was about to ask why, Pepper came out of her room, "I gotta go, enjoy your father-daughter time." she said to both of them and murmured, "All the best." in Tony's ears before she left, knowing very well that it's going to be a very tiring and difficult task to convince Nancy to do things his way.
After saying goodbye to Pepper, Nancy jumped right into the conversation. "Why not? I didn't even finish what I wanted to say!!"
"I don't want you to, and you know why, I've been trying to keep you safe and hidden for over a decade. I failed a couple of times and I'm not gonna let it happen again. 'No more Nelsey Scott' destroys the whole plan and I can't afford it."
"Dad, I understand what you're doing, but I'm sick of people calling me Nelsey all the time. I don't want to be Nelsey, I wanna be Nancy. I wanna be me! Is it too much to ask?"
Tony sighed, "Okay then. I understand you. Let's compromise. Your alias will no longer be Nelsey Scott, instead, it will be Nancy Scott. I'm not too fond of this but this way you'll have your first name AND your made-up last name. No one will suspect anything. Now Sunshine, can you live with that or is it too much to ask?" he asked as politely as he could trying to not piss off Nancy.
