She turned to see her father smiling. She ran to him and hugged him tightly, "Oh my god! Dad! You're back! You have no idea how long I've been waiting to see you."

Tony hugged back in contentment that his daughter was and would never leave his sight again and said, "I know, I know. I came back yesterday night. It was late and you were already fast asleep and I didn't want to wake you up. Plus, I owe you an apology." he pulled back to see her properly and said, "I'm so sorry I wasn't here to welcome you home yesterday. I would've stayed but the others would've been suspicious, and when they become suspicious, they won't stop till they find out some satisfying answers. And again, there was no way I could've stayed back on this mission. It's way too important for me to just ignore it. That's why we all had to go."

Nancy took a step back, assessed her father, and spoke, "You look knackered. What sort of mission was that, that all the Avengers in the compound had to go?" she asked, getting concerned.

Tony also assessed his daughter with a concerned look and asked, "Kid, did you sleep well? You look just as tired as me."

"Just the jet lag. I'm fine. Fell asleep as soon I hit the bed. So don't worry." she shrugged.

"Oh! That's good. I'm glad. Are you sure you wanna eat a burnt breakfast? 'Cause I know I don't." he asked trying to lighten her mood and change the topic. "Have I ever burnt a breakfast? Nope, don't think so. And it's already ready." she said placing the food on the plate.

"Good morning. Hey, can I get some of that? It smells good." said Pepper walking towards the kitchen and sitting on one of the chairs.

"Morning. Sure, lemme get a plate." said Nancy, getting a plate for Pepper too and placing the food and giving it to her.

"Ohhh! A simple English breakfast. Awesome!" she exclaimed and started eating. "Mmm! Nancy, this is delicious!" she complimented and continued eating.

"I know. Thank you." she replied to Pepper with a smug smile and looked at Tony, "And dad, I'm still waiting for you to answer my question." she said starting to eat her own breakfast.

Tony sighed in defeat and answered, "It was Wanda." he said as if the name itself was self-explanatory.

"So the rumors about Aunt Wanda taking a whole town hostage in New Jersey were true." she said confirming the news to herself in a concerned tone.

"Sunshine, don't be upset. She's fine now. She had no idea what she was doing until a 'witch' tried to steal her powers." said Tony in a reassuring tone, placing his hands over his daughter's trying to ease her.

"Your dad's right, sweetie. Wanda was so grief-stricken to notice anything. She lost Vision during the fight with Thanos, twice. We all did, but his loss hit her hard, more than anyone. Plus what S.W.O.R.D did was wrong. Stealing Vision's body and making it into a weapon. It suffices to say that they were desperately trying to replace S.H.I.E.L.D. Which is idiotic and impossible." said Pepper, also trying to soothe her.

"Exactly. Which is why we all had to go. It was Wanda. She is a part of our team- our family, she's also your aunt. I, no, we had to do something. We had to help her. Which is exactly what we did." Tony said putting his plate in the sink. He continued with a smirk, "The bonus is that we were able to put an end to the Director of S.W.O.R.D., what was his name, yes, Director Hayward for stealing Vision's body and using it as a weapon. Now, S.W.O.R.D. is under the command of S.H.I.E.L.D."

"Now we have to clean up S.W.O.R.D.'s mess and find the new Vision they created using our Vision's body excluding the mind stone. I know it's confusing. It is to us too. Need some time to get used to the fact that there is a clone of our Vision with his memories somewhere in this world, hopefully. Oh my god!" he said starting to get even more tired just thinking about what had happened in the last 48 hours. But now he didn't want to think about work. He wanted to think about his daughter. Her future.
