You pull it out and immediately unwrap it.
"I see you and your friends go to this one cafe after school a lot. Do you wanna go there with me? I'll be waiting."

You blush and shove the note in your pocket. Did he just ask you on a date? He did didn't he?
Oh my titan.
You smile, and immediately start walking towards the cafe.
The door opens. Cedar looks around to see if it's you who entered, customer after customer after customer. Still no one.
The door opens again. Is that you?
No.
Maybe you didn't wanna come. Maybe you thought it would be awkward alone with him. Ugh what can he do?
The door opens again.
It's you.
He lets out a sigh of relief and waves you over, eagerly you go up and sit down in the seat across from him.
"I was starting to think you weren't coming." He says.
"Oh no, I just was a little late." You say.
"It's okay." He nods.
"Um.. I usually see you eating (favorite pastry) when I come here so I ordered that for you" He says.
You nod.
"Uh I hope I'm not coming off as creepy or anything for knowing that. One of my dads works around here so I walk over here to check up on him, I just always see you." He says.
"No no it's okay." You blush.
"I appreciate it." You say.
"Oh good im glad." He laughs nervously.
"How.. um.. was school?" He asks.
"Fine. It's been good." You say.
"And um.. home?" He asks.
"It's okay." You say.
"Good good..." he nods.
"So, I wanna know more about you." He says.
"Tell me something... like... what's your favorite color?"
"(Favorite color)."
"Oh cool! Awkward question but I mean who am I if I don't know your favorite color?" He laughs.
"And what are your hobbies? I like reading and writing." He smiles.
"Um, sometimes I like to (hobby) and sometimes I like to (hobby)" you nod.
"Oh cool, you seem like the kind of person to do that." He says.
"What kind of books do you read?" You ask.
"I'm currently reading about some historic bard competitions." He nods.
"Oh, you and Skara go off on that stuff." You smile.
"Yeah, if I were to pick another track it would be the bard track." He smiles.
"Have you ever tried just learning by yourself?" You ask.
"Learning myself... um.. wouldn't that go against the rules?" He asks.
"I mean, if you've been reading some you kinda have been learning though haven't you?" You tilt your head.
