Happiness abides within finite boundaries. It is a sensation meant to be savored in the blink of an eye, while the tumultuous surge of emotions bewilders and fractures our very being.

“Are you ready? I know you have solved many cases and won them all. But this is different, Naveah.” I don't know if it's just my imagination but perhaps, is he insulting me?

I laughed mockingly, “Don't you trust me? Hindi ibig sabihin na may nakaraan ako sa lalaking 'yun, I will back off.” There's no way I will let what he wants happen!

“I know what kind of relationship you had with that man. And I'm afraid you'll let your personal feelings affect the case--” Before he could finish his sentence. I immediately cut him off.

“Hu'wag mo akong pangunahan, Paul! Kung ano man ang namamagitan sa amin ay matagal ng tapos. Don't worry! I won't let it happen.” I exclaimed.

He smirked, “Ok, if that's what you say, Prosecutor Ranoav! Pero sabihin mo sakin kung hindi mo kaya. Ako ang tatapos!” He patted my arm and left. Tsk!

D-mn! After 6 years. I'm nervous! I knew we would meet again but I didn't expect it to be so soon. Rael, is looking at me intently, asking me If I'm ok. I nooded as an answer.

I take a deep breath before I take a step with, Rael, inside the courtroom. I looked around the whole corner until I stopped when he caught my eye. I was stunned to see him. Both hands are handcuffed while being held by the police.
