POV- Jude

I wake up today is my birthday normally people are really happy on they birthday but honestly for me it's the worst day of the years because it's reminds of the day we broke up with Paola

Yes Paola and I broke up the day of my birthday that's why since that I never celebrate my birthday it reminds me of her
It reminds me when she was still with me and the day of my birthday she was making everything to make me happy

I decided to took a shower then get dressed today I will do nothing because I don't want to do something today I know my mom will take a cake and while sing happy birthday but honestly for me it doesn't mean anything because PAOLA is not there

After I got dressed I go down stairs and see my mom there she came directly to hug me

Jude's mom : happy birthday my little boy 20 year old today you are getting bigger and bigger

Jude : thank you mom yes I am getting bigger and bigger ( kissed her forehead)

Jude's mom : by the way I have a surprise for you

Jude : no mom please you know I hate surprises and my birthday

Jude's mom : jude believe me this will be the best birthday ever for you
You will love your surprise

Then I go in my room I always told my mom I didn't want any surprises at my birthday it also reminds me of her god everything on my birthdays remind me of her

I know he doesn't like surprises at all but if he knew what was the surprise he would've never react like that because I know he will like it or to be more precise the person

Obviously I had to message Paola to tell her about everything because I couldn't see my boy like that anymore as a mommy to see your son not wanting to celebrate his birthday anymore is horrible

I messaged Paola and told her if she could come to surprise jude for me and I explain everything to her and she told me she absolutely didn't know about this and she told me that she will come for me and alone because she will tell her boyfriend so pedri that she is going somewhere with her friends

After 1 hours I hear my phone ringing and I see the name of Paola I told her to not ring the bell so he will not notice anything I directly go to open the door

Jude's mom : hey Paola how are you ? Thank you for coming it means a lot to me

Paola : hey madam no problem it's the least I can do by the way where is he ?

Jude's mom : he is in his room my dear

I came only because his mom asked and I love hiS mom so much and I was shocked when I learned that since this day he doesn't celebrate his birthday so I decided to came here and talk with him

I go upstairs and see his room I knocked on the door and heard a little « yes mom » but his voice was broken that show that he cried I go in his room and see him with red puffy eyes he surely cried and he didn't saw me because his eyes were closed

Paola : hap...happ... happy birthday Jude

He directly opened his eyes and looked at me

Jude : p..pa... Paola what are y..you doing here ?

Paola : well I am the surprise your mom told you about

I see him looking to the ground I go to sit down next to him

Paola : why are you doing this to yourself Jude ?

Jude : because I can't celebrate my birthday Paola it reminds me of you everything on this freaking day reminds me of you

He started tearing up while saying this I could see he was broken so I took him in my arm

Paola : Jude please don't do this to yourself you deserve so much better and you know that

Jude : no Paola I want you and only you do you understand that without you my life is nothing

Paola : Jude please don't do that to me and why didn't you tell me about this ?

Jude : because you didn't let me tell you Paola and I didn't want to make you sad you were so happy with pedri i didn't want to make you sad

Paola : no Jude you should've have told me after all we are just...

Jude : say ex or friends come on I dare you

Paola : we are just friends Jude and also ex but for me you are nothing more than a friends I can't forgive you after what you did and I love pedri

Jude : but Paola I freaking love you I tried to move on I tried to see other girl but when I look at other girl the only person I see is you , the only girl I can look at is you , you are every were Paola in my mind every where the is not a minute we're I don't think about you I am thinking about you all the time now I know you have pedri and that you are happy and honestly it hurts me so much to see you with another man I try so hard to forget you but you are in every of my dream Paola so yes I love you and I always will

Paola : Jude please you need to stop fighting for me I love pedri if you really love me the only thing you will want is me to be happy and I am happy with pedri so please don't fight because if you do I might lose pedri and If I do that means you also losed me but please stop with this and let's us stay friends because you are still so important to me as a friend so until now I want us to be friends and only friends

Jude : that's okay for me I just want to have you back in my life in every position you want but like you said let's stay friends because I also still care about you and you are very important to me Paola

Then he took me in his arm and we got downstairs I could see him smiling that shows me that he was happy his mom then came with his birthday cake we singed happy birthday to Jude then I gived him my gift

Paola gives me her gift and when I opened it I see a chain with a guitar on it I look at her and see her smiling she remembers it she remember that I played guitar when she was sad , that I played guitar to see her smile

I go to hug her and whisper in her ear

Jude : you see I told you I am unforgettable

Then she told us she had to go because pedri was waiting I said thank you to her for coming my mom was saying the true today was the best birthday I had for a long time

Jude's mom : so my boy did you like it today did you like my surprise

Jude : oh yes mom your surprise was the best thing I could get thank you mom

Jude's mom : no problem son I just want you to smile like that

Then I kiss her forehead and go upstairs to my room I was already a bit late so I changed myself and got in my bed and fell asleep thinking of this beautiful day
