Well, This Was Embarrassing

"so," I started fiddling with my claws. "a white dragon said that you wanted to meet me."

Changbin glared at the giant white beast that stood by his side, who gave him an innocent smile and hugged him "you know you wanted to," she whispered in a stage whisper that my sharp ears picked up quickly. I grinned softly. They had like a sister-brother bond.

Seeing this type of affection between a dragon and a mortal was good. But, unfortunately, it rarely happened, or I didn't see as much as I would've liked. "we... did," said Lee Know, suddenly bashful. I quirked a brow. Lee Minho is one of the boldest of the eight boys, shy? No, that doesn't add up at all.

"so what did you want to see me for? I'm not a... STAY, worth seeing," I said, trailing off a bit, my tail lashing. The white dragoness noticed and walked over to me, putting a wing over me and pressing me against her side "you sure are, sweetheart," she said, smiling at me and twined her tail with mine in a kind manner.

I smiled back at her and then turned to Stray Kids, expecting some words about why they summoned me here, but all I got was something I didn't expect. Suddenly eight pairs of arms encircled me—some around my waist, others around my shoulders and torso, and some around my shoulders.

The white dragon moved away quickly as a lightning bolt stunned her by her friends' actions. Her fellow dragons were also stunned and shared launched with each other. "w-what are you doing?" I squeaked as my wings instinctively flashed out, my scales flashing alarmingly, and my tail nearly knocked down the coffee table behind me. Hadn't the black dragon moved it away in the nick of time?

"We are sorry we didn't find you sooner, Pyrge, really, really sorry," I heard Felix mutter, and the confused furrow in my forehead deepened. "you... don't have to be sorry...?" I said, unsure of what they were asking to be apologized for. Soon enough, one after one, they disentangled themselves from me, and I rolled my shoulders, still not used to being touched by my idols.

"We are sorry for not finding you sooner. You are our last soulmate," Chan explained, showing his wrist with a burning flame tracing the tendons that tightened by teh muscle spring he was doing to show me.

My mouth dropped open, tongue flat against the underside of my maw. So I w...was their soulmate? of all the things they could've called me over for, that was the reason? But, of course, that wasn't why I had procured at all! But I guess it is kind of... good?

Oh, this was so embarrassing. I didn't even know what to say to them when they all showed me their wrists, the same flame flowing proudly and glowing even prouder. It was confirmed I was their soulmate. I looked t my own (s/c) scales wrist, seeing the same mark, but this time, it was eight marks, all making a halo-like bracket.

All the marks were different, and I noticed it was their SKZOO characters. Odd but cute.

"I... am," I breathed, my eyes widening and pupils growing wide. A hand found my waist a tugged me into a waiting embrace. I looked up with a squeak seeing Hyunjins smiling down at me gently. He was handsome up close and even prettier than I had thought. I blushed a deep crimson thanking my sales that they were a pretty dark shade of (S/C) so he wouldn't suspect a thing. "sorry to break this upon you," he whispered in my pointed ear, burred his snout into the nook of my neck making me tense up.

"yeah, Hyujin, stop. You're making her uncomfortable!" Chan yelped, tugging the dancer away from me and giving me an apologetic smile which I only hooded thankfully at. Next, Hyunjin's dragon, a slender white-bleached male, approached me, pressing his snout against my scales and nostrils twice. I noticed that he wanted to scent me, checking as if I was his rider's last soulmate.

When satisfied, he hummed, spread his wings in a welcoming gesture, and bowed his head "welcome to the family, pretty one," he cooed, and I smiled, blushing at the comment. His apple didn't fall far from the tree here, no.

Tone after one, the dragons accepted me into their family, giving me a bow and flourishing with their wings. Soon enough, Emerald Jisung's dragon smirked and gave me a nudge "we are bowing to you, my queen," he said with a kind taunting voice. I glared at him. "I am no queen," I said, and he snorted, hugging his friends. Ivory chuckled, wrapped a wing over my own, and led me out of the room to another part of the hallway, where she opened another room with something inside. It seemed like some bedroom" you can stay here if you want to. The churches in our waiting room aren't the best to sleep in now, and you seem tired. Don't worry; I will inform your mother that you found your soulmates today and will stay with them." she said.

I hum, already feeling my eyelids gliding down my eyes. Ivory smiles and gives me a lick, then hurries out of the room, leaving me to cuddle up into the bed. I almost immediately fall asleep, dreaming of lovely evenings with my soulmates. I finally found them. I never thought I would, but here they are, alive and well.

And best of all, they are the sweet boys in the world. And I could never ask for anyone else.
