"Why?" the only question that came to her mind was Why?  Why always her.

This single Word destroyed everything for Aarohi Goenka. She wanted answers - Why was it always her?

First her father then her mother and now her sole reason of happiness - her Neil

Her fate was cruel enough to snatch them from her, maybe it couldn't bear the sight of a happy Aarohi Goenka Or maybe she wasn't meant to be loved

She closed her eyes gently as tears continued to flow, she was crying in fact had been crying all day long, she lost him -  she lost him for forever

Neil Birla was the man who loved Aarohi despite her flaws, accepted her just the way she was.

But now he wasn't there, he wasn't there to love her and look at her as if she was the most precious thing that he held in his arms. He wasn't there, sadly.

He left her alone, in this cruel world who failed to notice the inner beauty of a wretched soul, love was all she wanted but she didn't get any of it except from her Neil and her late parents

Selfish - that was what people considered but nobody tried to look beyond that selfishness, beyond that cunning nature what she really was

In the facade of a selfish and cunning girl she was nothing but just a innocent piece of art who craved love and only love

But now she didn't have anyone left to love her - Her Neil was gone, he was dead

"Forever"

"It's forever" Neil said lovingly to Aarohi under the sky filled with stars and moon to be the witness of his promise to her

"He lied" She whispered in a broken tone

"He lied, he lied to me that it was forever" the words choked with her sobs came out

"How could he do this to me? He sa-id, that he- he lo-ved me" A broken Aarohi spoke aloud to herself

"Is this your love Neil?" She questioned him "Is this? Really this. You said that you'll never let me cry but see I am, I - am crying Neil" she fell down on her knees and huddled in the corner of her room

Sobs - her broken sobs, her pleading sobs were all that echoed in the dark room

The harsh blowing wind made her shiver as it made it's way inside through the open windows, she flinched as the sound of thunder echoed

"Neil, whenever i hold your hands why are they always cold?" Aarohi asked Neil while snuggling more into him

Neil smiled and kissed her forehead

"Because your hands are always warm so that's  why mine are always cold" He answered while Aarohi nodded in dissatisfaction

"It makes no sense, okay" she said complaining about the illogical reason stated by Neil

"Aarohi, just look at these rain droplets" He said while pointing outside

Aarohi turned towards the window and smiled, the small rain drops had always fascinated her, she was always amazed by the magnificent beauty of the tiny drops that fell just like the beads of a necklace

"How do they feel?" Neil asked her and she looked at him raising her eyebrows in confusion

"Now what's this" She asked him

"Just answer Aaru, how do the raindrops feel" He said to her calmly giving a smile

"These just feel so good, so small, so cold yet soothing against the skin" She answered to him while gazing at the tiny beads
