"Kie, me and your father has something to discuss..." Nilapitan ko sila at umupo ako sa gitna nila sa couch...

The awkward atmosphere is obvious. I tried to keep a poker face even though I know what's clearly going on.

"About what?" I asked lazily.

Hindi talaga mabuti ang pakiramdam ko these past few days, at dumagdag pa ang pag-aaway nila Mommy at Daddy.

"Our marriage isn't working out anymore..." Napalunok ako at tinignan silang dalawa.

I'm pretty much aware of that. Especially the fact that I live with them, I witness every fight they have. Kahit na subukan ko silang pigilan, wala lang nangyayari.

All I could do was cry in my room knowing I couldn't do anything about it.

I could see the guilt and gloom on their eyes. Their face says all what's needed to be said. Magaling pa naman akong bumasa ng mga mukha.

"And we've already made a decision..." Bumilis ang pag-hinga ko. I

I still managed to keep a straight face while listening. think I know where this is going.

"We will be splitting up. Actually, we already signed an annulment..." My heart dropped from what Mom said.

I knew it, I fucking knew it.

Sinubukan kong pigilan ko ang rumaragasang emosyon ko dahil ayaw kong sumabog sa harapan nila. What the hell, nakapag-annulment na sila without my knowledge?

"And you told me just now? Kailan pa kayo nagpa-annulment?" Padabog akong tumayo habang naluluha. Hinarap ko sila parehas.

Napansin ko ang pananahimik ni Dad. Si Mom lang ang umiimik sakanilang dalawa.

She looked down and responded, "3 days ago..." Napasapo ako sa buhok ko, what the fuck.

Nilapitan ako ni Mommy at niyakap, "Pasensya na, Kie."

"Minabuti naming hindi muna sabihin sa'yo dahil parang wala ka sa mood palagi ngayong nakaraang araw... We thought It will only worsen-"

Dinuro ko sila, "But you two were the reason!"

"Your fights are affecting me so much that I couldn't even focus on my job!" Mukhang nagulat sila sa bigla kong inasal.

Sila naman talaga ang dahilan kung bakit ako nagkakaganito. I'm losing my energy because of their quarrels. Ang hirap matulog gabi-gabi dahil panay sila bangayan at sigawan.

Little do they know, I always cry myself to sleep because of them?

"Hon-" Sinubukan akong lapitan at yakapin ni Dad, pero agad akong umiwas.

"Don't touch me, please." Nilayuan ko silang dalawa at hinarap ang dalawa kong palad sakanila. I'm still processing what's about to happen.

"Who will move out? Kailan?" I have so much questions going around my mind.

Mom sighed, "Your Dad gets to keep the house, I'll move out with..." Napahinto ito sa huli niyang sasabihin.

"With who?" Nagkasalubong ang mga kilay ko.

I looked at Mom with confusion, "Fucking tell her, Alena." Dad gritted his teeth.

Nilapitan niya ako at hinawakan sa balikat, "I-I have an other man...."

An other man?

As in, ibang kinakasama? Which I found out just now in the worst way possible?

"W-what the fuck..." Tuluyan nang pumatak ang mga luha ko. Mom has been cheating the whole time?
