ENOUGH IS ENOUGH

CHAPTER TEN

JASPER

Casey was abnormally quiet today , which was unusual for him since everytime I'm driving us to the college him and his mate won't shut up on the ride there .

Now his mate was trying to get him to talk to her , to tell her what's wrong but he won't say a word to her .

Everytime I glanced at him it looked as if he would start crying .

" What's wrong Case ? " I asked him.

" That's what I asked him but everytime I do he just ignores me and walks away . " Alice complained from the back seat .

I think because of what she said made him angry because the sad expression disappeared and a scowl took its place .

" Whatever is going on with me had nothing to do with you . Mate our not I don't have to tell you everything . " Casey snapped at her.

A look of shock came to slice slice Alice face at seeing him snap at her.

I raise an eyebrow in shock at him and just continue to drive to the college .

CASEY

I know I shouldn't snap at my mate but I didn't want to tell anyone about what happened yesterday .

If I started talking about it I was sure I would start crying again .

FLASHBACK

Yesterday after that raven haired girl claimed to be Ice , I went to my parents house hoping that for once they would talk to me .

I miss my parents especially my mom .

I cried and tried to beg for her forgiveness the day she told me she was kicking me out of the house .

I was confused and didn't understand why until she told me she couldn't believe she had me as a son , a person who would pick on my sister , my own blood and let other people do the same .

I told my mom I knew what I had done was wrong but she told me it was to late and that me apologizing couldn't bring back her dead daughter .

I was left with my stuff outside of my house screaming and crying for my mom , not noticing at the time that my pack members were watching .

I sighed in sadness as I remembered that day .

I looked up at the house I grew up in .

The house that I missed .

I knocked on the fading yellow door.

I could smell my moms scent faintly from behind the door .

" Margo , did you forget some....... " My mom said but stopped when she saw that it was me and not someone else .

" Hi mama . " I greeted her .

" What are you doing here Casey ? " 

She asked me .

" I needed to tell you something , but I also wanted to see you . " I told her .

" What is it that you need to tell me Casey ? " She asked me in a monotone voice .

" Can I please come into the house mama ? " I asked her .

" I don't think that's a good idea 

Casey . "

" Would you stop doing that ? " I demanded .

" Doing what Casey ? "

" That ! Saying my name after every sentence like I'm some stranger you just met . " I pointed out .

" Whatever Casey , just come inside so you can tell me what you have to so you can leave before your father comes back home . " She said in a rude tone .

I flinched slightly at her words but did as she said and walked into the house .

The house still looked the same way it did the last time I was here .

Pictures of Ice and I when we were babies still hung on the walls .

We walked into the living room and I sat down in the same spot where my mom and I use to cuddle up when I was little and would read books to me .

My mom say across from me and folded her arms .

" What is it that you have to tell me ? "

" A girl started the college today and she has hair as black a raven and the same gray eyes as Ice and she told Jasper that she was Ice but she looks nothing like her except for eyes . " I told her .

A look of anger came to my mom's face when I was done speaking .

She stood up from her seat and glared at me .
