THE JOURNEY was long and rough. The waters looked like an endless road that would never come to an end.

The family did multiple stops on their way, landing on small islands, big enough for them to let themselves and their ikrans rest.

But no place was safe enough to stay for long, especially at sea. An unknown land with many mysteries and dangers.

They pushed themselves, flying through the night. They flew through a horrific storm, the strong wind and sea raging and pushing against them with fury.

They had never taken flight for such a long period of time, so after the storm passed, they took the opportunity to continue forward. Later, the evening heat that came from direct sunlight pushed against their bodies creating a burning sensation on the skin.

The first to be affected by said heat was Lo'ak, his banshee kept tumbling in the air, shrinking lowly as it felt the once weak connection slowly start to disappear.

Zö'ilen, even if she was immensely tired, kept an eye on her siblings every chance she could. She was flying between both her brothers while her sister rode between her parents. With her being the closest to the boy, she quickly took notice of the weak tumbling of the banshee.
