AFTER what had happened the group went back to the mountains. Jake took Spider back to the lab, and the family went back to their hut.
There was no talking on the way back, the only sound that was heard was the still pouring rain that fell from above. The night sky shimmering with stars.
Zö'ilen felt ashamed, scared. Things could have ended terribly, it almost did if she hadn't done something.
She didn't know how or when her relationship with Spider changed but it did, and the new feeling was unwanted.
How do you go from disliking someone since you were a child but then all of a sudden care for them in a matter of minutes?
Zö'ilen knew her emotions in the moment took over her, she was scared of him getting hurt or worse, so she risked it, stupid of her but she did it.
Back in the Sully hut, Zö'ilen was getting reprimanded for her actions as the rest waited outside listening to the scolding.
"What the hell were you thinking!?" Jake scolded in anger with Neytiri steps behind.
Zö'ilen stood tall with her back straight and head down, keeping quiet and just letting the scolding pass.
"You worry so much about your siblings, about us. But never worry about yourself, you don't think before you act." Jake spat out losing his cool more than before.
